Apart from a string of no balls and sixes, you mean? There is some excuse for bowling no balls when desperate for wickets. There is no, repeat NO, excuse for bowling no balls when the opposition needs 17 an over with five down.

Speaking as one who's done a fair bit of umpiring, it's the most difficult decision you'll have to make. The rain may have been easing off, but the pitch and outfield were getting wetter, which is a major thing the umpires have to consider.
