Everyone going could at least hit Swindon in the wallet area by making sure they buy all their food and drink outside the ground. That should cost them a few thousand squid.

Yep, there's a handy Sainsbury's not far from the ground.

Rovers fan don't think much of having to pay again re rematch v Swindle. Boycott the ground refreshments but going to Sainsburys (They do have short memories) Having recently getting shafted by Sainsburys. Another gift

Bristol Rovers chairman 'disappointed' by long-serving supporter's recent 'outburst'

Bristol Rovers chairman Steve Hamer is 'disappointed' by long-serving supporter Jim Chappell's recent 'outburst'.

The Supporters Club chairman was critical of the club and their decision not to celebrate promotion with an open-top bus parade.

Open-top bus tour? What does one of those look like?

Just found this. Asked  the question why do the 15ers want to build a 21000 seater stadium going to look empty all hundled in one corner of  a stand.

When I went to MK Dons this year it looked very sparse their fans all over the stadium no atmosphere. Be the same for the 15ers.

  4. If Wally had trillions of pounds why not have a go at Sainsburys for the third time, just heard they have abandoned their 3rd appeal shame. So this new owner a Chelsea fan, tried to buy Gillingham then ended up with the Sags building a car park for them. Now I heard on the radio there are a few issues before they can proceed. Does not look a done deal. So has this arab got any money or will he mortgage the club of. Like the Glazers did to Man U. If he had Trillions he would get it built?

Thought the Judge said 'that's yer lot'?

That said, if they are thinking of taking this to Diana Ross is can only mean one or two things.

1/ They are short of the fund to pay the legal fees and want to buy time.

2/ Actually the sale of the Mem is far more financially significant than Wally has been saying.

Is there not a presevation order on the minimal as its a war memorial, does it not have to stay as a sports facilty. Maybe Plan B will be to redevelop the minimal and forget all about UWE.

What a difference a month makes. There would have been alot of sleepless nights this week if we were still under the old stewardship. I have no doubt that Thursdays announcement would have quickly been followed up with the club going into financial meltdown.
MSP loan to be paid back
Charge over the stadium for Sainsburies costs
    Directors loans.
Just one big grab for cash from those who steered the ship directly into the perfect storm. We would be on the verge of being homeless again with no opportunity of sharing at Bath this could have been the slow death of the club suddenly moving into the fast lane to oblivion.
Instead the future is so bright im still pinching myself. For the first time in my lifetime there is a prospect that we will be able to compete with the other team in bristol off the field.
    UTG

So the sags only want to compete with us of the field (the gift) They now are admitting they could have gone into Administration
