I’m not surprised. Cannot see many clubs lining up bids for likes of Palmer, Wells, Vyner, Kalas and a few others.

With Burnley home to Wolves and Everton away to Liverpool. Have to start wondering if Burnley can do the great escape.

I think all 3 will go. One to sort FFP, the other two to reinvest back in the team. Wouldn’t want to lose them, but it’s for the greater good.

This reminds me of when Brentford visited Ashton Gate on New Years Day a couple years ago

That's what separates the top managers. They were all over the place first half yet very good in the second. Not sure they controlled the game but you can see what he was getting at.
Quite simply. He’s saving face and not admitting Man City were better. Sensible move by Klopp given what’s at stake.

I think they will let him go and either bring in Kane or Haaland.
Haaland would be the more sensible option for me. There’s a world class striker in the making for over a decade

If we had Pep, how good would our players perform? I’d love to know but it’s one question that can only ever be debated
Still shit

City pushing for a second goal
Manchester, not Bristol that is. As we couldn’t push a shopping trolley at the minute.

1-0 to Man City just under 5 mins. With the worst fan reaction cheer to a team fighting for the PL title. Not the most enthusiastic fans at Man City!

How will we progress without 3 of our best players? You remove quality, sign a number of mediocre players, and we won’t stay up.
Apart from Scott, are Massengo and Semenyo our next best players? That's debatable. Massengo appears to want to leave at the end of his contract. So it would make sense to sell him. Jury is still out for me with Semenyo. I would rather get a good fee now, with a good sell on clause that would also include appearance fee.
We need funding in order to re-build a new squad all round. Not just plug the gaps with 1-2 free agents or low fee figure signings.

In order to progres, I do feel we will need to sell Semenyo, Scott & Massengo this summer.
Need to get out of the FFP mess. Then need mass funding to build a new squad. Otherwise, I think we are destined for League One come 23/24 season.

Couldn't agree more. Someone on here described him as a kid that's had too much sugar, absolutely spot on!
Took me a while to realise that he's playing devil's advocate and purposely being contrary to get a rise and liven up the conversation. Once I accepted that he became much easier to stomach
He's a bit like an annoying uncle at a family do. Yeah he's annoying, but the room would be pretty dry without him
That was me. I have to change the channel now when I hear Clinton Morrison. It gives me night terrors.

In order to survive Championship next season. Believe we will have to sell Semenyo, Scott and Massengo to boost funding

Those are the players you want to stay and build around. Which realistically, will not due to their quality. It's the natural cycle.
The players I've highlighted are the deadwood, and ones not good enough. Which are the ones you ideally want out the door first. This is what I feel NP is alluding to.
We know who needs to go, but there will not be any serious interest for clubs to purchase these players at a cost.
