  1. Absolutely but we need to level the playing field. Seen countless times it benefitting teams playing us.
  2. After spending 1m on AM I didn't see us spending that sort of money so soon after on one player. I guess we are looking to spend at least a small fraction of what Scott brings us.
  3. Well yeah depends how literal / pedantic we want to be.
  4. Big Nige said it so trust in Nige! He already won a trophy with Englabd U20s right? Played most of the games too so I would say its a good indication that he will.
  5. Sorry but another gem from the Sunderland Forum: Amad who’s possibly the best player in the division but let’s give it to Alex Scott WHK has the grand total of 1 goal in 40 games. The kid hasn’t even played for England under 21s yet. ?
  6. Sunderland fans showing how stupid football fans can be. Great gem from their forum. "Only got it because he's linked to Man Utd"...As opposed to the player you think should have it who is on loan from Man Utd ? What a doughnut.
  7. Only 700 to Port Vale? How many did we take to Stoke on a Saturday?
  8. I remember GJ having a coupld spats with fans behind the dugout in the Williams stand. Remember one time where I could make out some of the words said and essentially it was. "If you think you can do a better f****** job then come here".
  9. It used to annoy me last season when people were banging on about giving Sam Bell more games because what I saw of him suggested he was nowhere near league 1 football let alone Championship. Its amazing how he has come on, you can see that confidence and sharpness improving all the time. Tinman said last season was it that in a couple of seasons time Bell and Conway sill be leading the line for City first team....never doubt Tins....
  10. We know some players take longer yo settle in than others and correct me if I'm wrong but hes playing in a role he isn't used to.
  11. His last season we finished 12th after holden took over. I think it was the final straw because even after a lengthy covid break we were still awful and we would have finished worse.
  12. Well we outperformed Warford twice and gave a good go against Sheff Utd twice and thats off the top of my head. Performance was there but result wasn't. It happens to all teams
  13. Good club Rotherham. Unlucky to go down last time. From memory didn't they have to squeeze in an extra few games in the last several weeks compared to the rest of the league? Wouldn't mind a look at Ogbene when hes OOC but would have many suitors in this league alone.
  14. He doesn't like whats hes read on here so needs some reassurance for his insecurity, which is why he was on here in the first place. Theres a few sensible gas i know who say wait until the diggers are onsite etc.
  15. Its pathetic its still about. But football fans can be pretty stupid. I mean causing violence and aggro resulting in hundreds if not thousands of policemen and women every weekend away from their job, when they could coming down hard on the very people you are talking about.
  16. Strange, I have never heard racism at the gate or away directed at black people but have definitely heard homophobic and racism towards Middle Eastern ethnicities.
  17. Well if theres one game they would win....
  18. I agree but somehow Cardiff and Reading haven't dropped to the 3rd tier since getting promoted from it what 20 odd years ago?
  19. Whatever you do don't finish 3rd .
  20. Agreed similar to the Watford game it felt we should have brought on subs earlier but were actually worse with bell taken off.
