As far as im aware a yearly sum is paid to the feeder club and then players are sent there on loan for free by the parent club. As far as im aware thats it just, a better relationship between the two clubs. I think swindon have one with spurs and barnsley with united ! I thought only emergency loans were scrapped not loans during the tranfer windows.

This thread only slightly makes up for all the obsession the gas had with us the relegation parties and tannoy announcements the numerous songs they sing about us etc etc, i dont think they realise we have this thread purely to wind them up and bite and its proven to work. Enjoy it mate there are some decent teams in that league and with the teams.coming back down i predict rovers to finish just outside playoffs because you might be able to keep your players now and improve the squad.

Whilst i agree they are obsessed with attendances 11k is not pathetic it was a sell out so they probably could have got a few thousand more

I dont think we appreciate how well we did last season its not easy to win any title. When you look at other teams in that league there is no reason why rovers shouldnt be in there competing. One of the sags cheerfully said on the radio that no bristol team has managed back to back promotions before. Forgetting the fact that their promotions were from leagues that we either havent been in or stayed in for more than two years, must say im quite chuffed with that stat
