This situation was exacerbated by the fact that Sykes is a lazy bastard and didn't track back.....this created the massive space for them to play in. Vyner was the secondary player here.....slightly out of position but not entirely at fault. I thought that, at times, he appeared to be one of the stronger defenders in the first half.....needs to learn how a ball bounces and how to predict it.

Right....one positive....Weimann kept his goal scorong tally on track.....2 goals in 2 games..... Critical to his confidence.

I wouldn't exactly say a 2 minute lead was a commanding position. To be clear I do not disagree with your broader point.

We are second best at pretty much everything. Tracking, attacking movement, aerial duels.....most importantly....creativity.......some serious work to be done here......Sunderland are definately thr better of the 2 teams at the moment.
