We need to be brutal and not sit back.....keep you g forward with the intent to score.....make amends for our drubbing against Villa.
Didn't see that coming.....a point gained rather than 3 lost.......team around us didn't capitalise on it......not happy but willing to let it go.....we need to find a killer instinct or we will never make it to the top tier.
Let's go again.....COYRs

I too think that we need to win to kick on with this season.
It is increasingly frustrating watching teams come to AG to stifle the game and hope to pinch a victory from a set piece or other contentious issue.
IMO we haven't had the greatest amount of luck from the officials in recent games and it will depend on the 50/50 balls (ie if we win the second ball) we will emerge victorious....if not...a draw or worst case loss.
I believe that this team has the ability to make it to the play offs.....and we know what we are able to achieve with this team when the big games come.......all we need is a winning mentality and a refusal to accept being stifled...let's get creative and make life difficult for the black cats today.....three points await.
My prediction is a frustrating 2-1 win.

The old nervous final ten minutes is back

Sitting too deep....inviting pressure.....everytime mags touches it it goes to a Derby player.....

Stick the young Guns out for Watford......give the team some well deserved rest.......if they rest they will go again

Prep for 35 minutes of long ball flick on misery......

Duric coming on

Without doubt the worst set of officials I have ever seen!
This needs to be raised....didn't book time wasting.
Moved our balls back but not theirs
Our players have been kicked all over the park....theirs tripped on daisies...
Professionals?.....Burton are a disgrace to the term.
Shocking.

This has got either 1 or 3 points for City WRITTEN ALL OVER IT.
Likely we will leapfrog Ipswidge into the playoffs.
City going like a steam train under Johnson.
Probably win the playoffs, and be in the Prem next season.
Johnson gets another transfer window, completes his masterpiece and actually DOES get us into the Europa League.
"Shit!!!!!!"

So glad to see that there are still people with a firm grasp of sarcasm........
Whilst I do not believe we will be in the playoffs at Christmas/end of the season....we can't ignore that the team have been playing well (or getting results....which ever way you want to look at it) of late. They do deserve some credit for that at least.
As for your hatred of LJ .....I still remember last season...........as most of us do......you have to go through the lows to get to the (potential) highs......if results turn I have no doubt that there will be less time given to him this season....he has however seemingly created a positive environment which is allowing our players to flourish....I think we should all just enjoy it for however long it lasts.......

And so the second 45 minutes commences......it better be a huge improvement from the first half.
Hopefully we can save this rather than choke and squander another chance to secure our Championship staus

A good result today that turns the pressure on those immediately around us.
Ideal situation now would be win against Barnsley on Sat, failing that (Brighton result dependent), it could be a very interesting last game of the season especially if Brum need to win to stay up!
Well done today City.....a well earned point.

Wilbs to score in the 88th Minute......fingers crossed

Need a sub (just to break their tempo and give our bioys a few seconds respite......)
Come on Lee Box Clever

We have now entered the dreaded 80-94 Minutes.......we need to start pressing again...we are unable to resist too much pressure for too long!

Blackburn need to win it so we can hit them on the break .

It wouldn't be City if they didn't drag us through the Myre!
Cotterill will set up a beauty....wait out!

Newcastle have equalised.

Just flitting through the BBC Sport website and came across this little gem:
Blackburn have met Bristol City twice before in league games on a Monday, scoring five goals in both games - a 5-2 win in 1909 and a 5-0 win in 1958.
By my reckoning we are due these Fu*@kers a doing!......COYRs

I am concerned about Blackburn today... They will have a little bit of confidence about them after their win last week.
It is imperative that we play our football (not all out defence and try not lose) and get an early goal (or three) to knock that out of them.
My heart wants us to win today but my head says it wouldn't be City if we made it easy for ourselves.,,
COYRS.....I know that you can put it to bed.....please don't choke today.....lets send them down!
