Wood was caught, Root declared and they were coming off the pitch and it was a no ball. So Root rescinded his declaration and then Wood carried on smashing it out of the park! When he was finally caught again, Root declared.

Matt Smith was an emergency loan so it was different. However I believe that loans used to end on the last day of the season, but now I think they end at the end of the play offs so all season long loans would be eligible to play in the play offs.
