    Absolutely love that from Benik - a class act. I’m so pleased he feels that way for us as it’s so clear to see that the feeling is mutual unconditionally. I would have him back in a heartbeat over Martin and Wells.

    Refs had a proper Weston super mare there. When you take in to account the stone waller on Alex Scott for an almost identical challenge - you either give both of them, or neither. I hate the inconsistency with the refereeing at this level.

    Looks like 3-5-2 still to me. Tanner and COD WBs. With Vyner Pring and Kalas as the 3. James and King the double pivot with Scott in the 10. Weimann and Semenyo upfront. Exciting.

    Bit of natural width. Something you don’t really get with a CM stuck out there. You can’t expect a player to find form by not playing them. Give him a few games imo, let’s see what a fully fit COD can do this season before fully writing him off.

    I would’ve questioned it too had Wells been fit, but with Semenyo also out, what other option do we really have? Weimann isn’t a lone striker .

    Because Martin needs a rest, it is clear to see . The chance he missed against Millwall when he failed to even get a shot away when clean through tells you all you need to know.
