I think that pub is actually near the hotel I'm staying at, as is the train station.
I walked past it earlier as I was looking for some Thatchers to drink in my hotel room during my stay...
They have thatchers in the old Vic. Seen it last night

I’ve been trying to stay humble about it all season, but the evidence is there for all to see. You’re welcome
So when did they visit us in the lower leagues ?

We had a pub meeting in the Eagle tavern where we ran a coach to away games with Dennis Smith just after we signed Dave Thomson. He said we wouldn't need a goalkeeper

Didn't realise that ex city centre half john mcphail had a fall in December and is still in a coma. Understand they are having a minutes applause at Wembley on 5 minutes tomorrow. Very sad news loved watching him play a no nonsense defender .Best wishes to the family

I remember one to Leyton Orient in the FA Cup, train broke down, sure it took about 5 hours, it was snowing, some City fans got off the train and were on the tracks, think it was warmer outside and obviously we lost, they weren't the best way to travel.
Yes was also on that one

Come on, it’s no real surprise.
Nigel Pearson with his 500 league games worth of management, winning promotion to the Prem & The Championship can’t ever know as much about football as a self appointed expert who is on Radio Bristol every week with his variable facts & shifting theories on who he thinks could do a better job.
It’s simple apparently, “if he knew surely he’d have solved it by now” a veritable genius speaks.
Don't forget the possession stats that mean f all
