If we are at our maximum in our wage structure it begs the question why we have brought in bang average players to, quality over quantity
-
We need reinforcements in midfield and cf as cornick should not be starting .

It's funny but I never think of Middlesbrough being in Yorkshire, it's so close to the Durham border and they are so desperate to be classed in with the Tyneside teams, they seem to forget this themselves at times.
Was about to say the same thing surprising how large Yorkshire actually is.

Someone who replaces Scott, a number 8 style cm with legs to play alongside knight with either Williams,James,Naismith sat behind, saying that I don’t see us replacing either Scott or Conway .

If there was budget to spend on a Scott replacement, I would love a move for Chair at QPR based on their finance issues.
Couldn’t argue more about Chair, Wilock from them is decent too.

Never got going today didn’t play with any intensity all game , as many have said midfield poor really missed Scott and he will need replacing with a forward thinking midfielder, positive is we have the Conway , Memetti & Sykes to all all start against Oxford which will improve us. Going off todays preformace creativity from central midfield is a concern .

Skyes over Cornick with memetti over bell saying that in nige we trust

O’Leary
McCorrie Vyner Dickie Pring
James
Scott Knight
Sykes Wiemann
Conway
Bajec, Naismith, tanner, Williams, memetti,
Bell, Wells.
quite a strong 18

Stoke are about to sign Ben Person permanently from Bournemouth , so potentially this might lessen there interest in Knight.

IMO , I’m not sure this is a goer I can’t see us being held to ransom, if derby are playing hard ball can see us moving on to other targets.
-
I don’t see Bournemouth being appealing to Scott with the other clubs rumoured to be interested in him .
-
I’m disappointed though joe would have offered us something to squad . All the best Joe

I know a lot of people say formations do not matter that much and there is a need to be flexible over the course of a season but I do think that the players we have, and the players we are rumoured to be signing don't really fit that well in the current formation. I also think we have too many forward options to play with just a front two !
The under 21s have been playing a 3-4-3 for a few weeks now, and I wonder if we will see this next year (or maybe against QPR as a trial ?)
o'leary
vyner - naismith - pring
sykes - mccrorie - james - bryan
cornick - conway - mehmeti
Interesting starting 11 , no Atkinson and cornick over wells ,Weimann & bell , not writing cornick off yet but he hasn’t really done anything apart form 45mins against boro to suggest he should be starting over the other 3 .

Overall positive, the likes of Conway , Pring, Vyner O’Leary & Bell all proving they can preform at this level. Is a big plus.
sykes, tanner & memetti also looking astute signings.
can’t help but feel if we hadn’t had the long term injuries to key players in key positions over the season we could of achieved a top six spot, I appreciate all teams will experience this over the course of season but we really where done to the bear bones.
kalas, Atkinson, Naismith, Conway, Williams and all missed a large chucks of season .- 5

Saints are gone , then two from Everton , Forest, Leeds ,
would love an away day at Goodison providing it’s 3pm on a Saturday, and not a Tuesday evening.
-
We definitely need another 3points for certain and looking at our fixtures we have quite a tough run in

Vyner has been excellent this season,
but a kalas like tonight with a fit inform Atkinson would be a really strong pairing
-
Big blow to him and us let’s hope it’s 6 months rather than 9 and he is available early next season.

All for showing passion. but o find this this really embarrassing so much for cool calm and collective. It’s not about you Mark.

Any update on the extent of Atkinson’s injury?
-
Would have probably kept wells & Sykes in with just bell coming out for mehmeti but in nige we trust as he has certainly got team selection and set up right the last few weeks.
-
Agree both fullbacks were impressive today, also thought James did everything he had to do well and definitely played his part in a gritty 3 points.
-
I’d probably settle for a point today.
Norwich still have some dangerous players for this level , it extends unbeaten run and momentum, out ultimate game is survival sooner we achieve that the better , then we can start being more expansive and expressing ourselves a little more.

Begs the question what sort of infection could prevent you from potentially playing for the next 9 months?
