Excellent half of football and about 50/50 so far. We have missed the easiest chance (Sykes) but Norwich always look dangerous especially down the right.

He took an age to give the first pen! He was excellent.
I wonder if he was talking to the lino to confirm there was no chance of offside?

Well it's taken him five months to work out how to set up and get the team to play much as it did under Pearson. I'll back him for now as he's finally twigged how this team is best organised.

We just need Matty James in the huddle before kick-off to say 'forget all that bulls..t, just play like Nige told us'. Perhaps he does and that's why results with him in the side are what they are.

As always, Jobi MacAnuff telling it like it is, Brian won`t like that.
But he did add Manning needs a pre-season and restructuring, for heaven's sake

In the Telegraph today a list of the most valuable players in each PL team, based on the number of points secured when they are playing: not surprisingly Brownhill at Burnley is one, but Antoine comes out top for Bournemouth. Well done lads.

That's because they hate each other though.
I quite like Belgians, especially their chocolate.
Their beers not bad too

Why do I have an image of statues of Tinnion and Manning dressed as Greek gods, with Pearson on his hands and knees bowing before them???
Greek gods were usually depicted naked, so it's a no from me

@Olé I always look forward to your away day reports and generally agree with most of your comments and markings. Today, I don't think I've ever been so disenchanted with City and its management and performances. Your 'report' sums up everything that is causing the club to lose its fanbase and I applaud your lack of engagement.
I would, however have given Mehmeti 3 not 4 (one trick pony) and Tanner 6 for the only decent shot in the match.

I think we will just about stay up but the only games i feel we will get points from are Huddersfield and Rotherham at home and they will both be fighting for there lives and we'll probably be in deckchair mode by then
On the Titantic?

The commentator on WBA broadcast hit the nail on the head when he said (more than once) City don't seem to have a plan at all. So sad that someone seeing us for the first time can see what our management can't or won't.

Well done lads - no goals conceded so far. On to the semis

I've not contributed to the various Manning in/out threads yet, but now seems a good time.
Like many on here, I was profoundly disappointed when Nige was sacked and especially the manner of it, but was prepared to see what Manning could bring to the team. It's been a real Jekyll and Hyde experience so far. Some fantastic displays against the better clubs (barring Leeds) but truly dismal against the lower sides. After Cardiff I was sadly moving into the OUT camp, and yesterday's performance only highlighted the problem. I now feel that Manning may be a decent coach, but not up to the job of leading a team and managing games of differing types. Swansea is the decider for me. Only a decent performance and setting up a plan (and changing it if necessary) will do, otherwise he'll have to go. Luckily I'll miss the match, taking the wife out to lunch. See you all on Sunday afternoon.

Not getting relegated? It probably won't last but at the moment QPR, Birmingham, Millwall, Stoke and Swansea are all winning

Diedhiou was incapable of playing with a partner.
Little game intelligence or enthusiasm to work in conjunction with a partner
Setting aside how we are currently playing , Id say TCs ideal partner would be mobile , athletic , good movement and intelligence ,not necessarily a significant physical presenceLike Nahki under NP?
