All the comments re. the free kick before, it was blatant from where I was, and a clear yellow. Tanner knew exactly what he was doing.
From the replay on TV Tanner clearly got the ball and then the attacker fell over his legs

Good omens today - spotted a robin in the garden vigorously defending his territory and then a box of robin logo iced biscuits arrived in the post. I see a 0-2 defeat on the cards.

Great man and manager - I only saw him once, playing at Stamford Bridge in the 1960s. RIP

Surely Sykes' goal is misplaced

Am I the only person who has no idea what this post is about?

You can email your mate whatever you wish, that is your business. I only know, that a very good friend of Franks, has been told directly by him, he wants the job, he's been in contact, he is due to be interviewed and he was due to be playing golf tomorrow and has cancelled it to meet the club.
Nah, he's cancelled golf cause he's seen the weather forecast. I've done the same but I'm not been called to interview.

If this is true? What a let down. A club like ours should be casting its net widely all over Europe to find a young progressive tracksuit coach, like a Farke or Frank type (Yes i know that is a cliche).....but that is exactly what this club needs? Instead we take the easy option off of the merry go round of sacked managers.....no ambition no foresight? If we were intending to get rid of NP, why didn't we spend a few months looking at possible replacements, vetting them, researching them, and talking to candidates? Instead it's a case of who's out of job, and is gonna be grateful to be employed, and lets make sure he is a YES man who won't upset anyone? It is all so very tedious IMO.
Don't forget, BT doesn't speak foreign

Thank you Nige for the past couple of years. You were getting my hopes up for a brighter future for BCFC, but I fear that's gone now

Seeing it again Fordy, I have to agree now. Max was at fault, but otherwise I think he's had a good game. Just bad luck that we're not putting their goalie under the same pressure.

I'll never forget my only visit to Watford; must have been in the mid 1960s. Bad weather and a very heavy pitch. Late in the game a hopeful boot upfield found Big John on his own just past the half-way line and as he ran he seemed to get slower and slower in the mud. I never thought he'd make it, but just as the defenders caught up with him he lashed a fantastic shot into the net from the edge of the area for the winner. What a day.
