My Gran was born in Little Paradise, but never interested in football
Grandad's - City, from St Johns Lane days
Dad - Bristol City
Mum - Bristol City (after being weaned off Bristol Rugby)
Local- only City
Me - City
Daughter - Real Sociedad (she lives in San Sebastian)
Great report, as ever, but I don't think Atkinson 'bundled it over the line'. It was a clear, accurate header which their goalie only managed to get a hand to.
Despite all their (at present) more successful neighbours, Leeds, the Sheffields, Huddersfield etc. I always think of Barnsley as the quintessential Yorkshire team - perhaps it's the nickname.
I think the Coventry pressing makes City look slower than of late. Fewer chances to move it forward quickly. The goal was a sublime cross and a very good run (and finish) by the scorer. No complaints about our defence there from me.
