I have been to Berlin many times and bars are a bit limited in central areas. If you want an area where there are plenty of bars and restaurants look up the area around 'Simon-Dach-Straße'. It is just off 'Frankfurter Allee' the unground station is 'Frankfurter Tor'.

I currently have a season ticket in the Lansdown and various other places over the years. I am not going to renew, but attend all home Saturday games instead... just have to convince my best mate it's a good idea.
