Before my time but RIP to a City legend.
Can anyone describe what type of player he was?
Not big but strong and quick. Tommy Conway reminds me of chris

Digital tickets remind me of harry dolmans automatic turnstiles introduced in the 80s. They caused huge queues before games and were soon scrapped!

Which manager switched tinman from wide left to central midfield? Masterstroke!

Should never be forgotten or underestimated how sir terry cooper pulled this club up by its boot strings. I loved that man!

Of the 4 I think I would go (in order) - JET, Jacki, Tomlin, Trundle
All had their moments, but JET on his day made everything look effortless and just oozed class from every pore.
Another name to add, jantzen Derrick. Another very gifted player who ultimately didn't fit in.

Always remember the Gillingham game the season before we signed him, Chris Honor (now an excellent pundit) was tasked with marking him & on one occasion Smith simply booted the ball about 30 yards forward into space down the wing & basically challenged Honor to a foot race to it.
Unsurprisingly he beat Chris to it by absolutely miles, I’ve never seen it before or since in a pro game.
Alan skirton did it all the time, even at 6 foot 2 and with a beer gut!

I also saw Chris garland head in on ground from 2 yards in glos cup final at Eastville on 28 April 1969. City won 5 nil and all 5 forwards scored, Skipton, garland, galley, kellard?, Sharpe. All city in black Swan after.

Players do come and go, however do remember that they are no different than you or I and have feelings etc.
Callum was amazing when he met my son, giving him so much time and encouraging him to pursue a dream of playing football.
Last week was mental health week, and mayn don't know some of the injuries that Callum has faced as he is quite a private person.
Many may say he should/could have delivered more, but I will say this - from what I saw, he gave his all and both he, and his family cared deeply about this club. He also did a lot in the community that was unnoticed and unreported, and represented Bristol City as a professional at all times.
Good luck Callum and I for one hope you go on to achieve more in your career.
My nephew worked at city as a groundsman for a while
When asked who was most friendly player he immediately said callum odowda, always interested to listen. I also asked the least friendly player.. any guesses?

Think he is out of contract in the summer?

So with COD out for 4-6 weeks, HNM having a fitness test; and NP saying Williams can't play 3 games in a week; who is in CM on Sunday????
Benarous?
Not sure any of the Under 23s are ready, even the much lauded Josh Owers (thank you Mr Gay).
I suppose at a push you could play Vyner there, if there's no-one else.

Gerry Gow was never manager of Scunthorpe United
He was manager when Botham played for Yeovil. He had 5 pints before a game then too!

Your post said Botham “had someone bringing pints onto the pitch for him” when he played for Scunny - I just expressed incredulity that a pro footballer would have done that, I don’t believe his manager, team mates or the referee would have put up with that

What has happened to James Morton? Move to mk dons in summer fell through, not heard of since. Signed a long contract couple of years ago?
