  1. Might explain why there was a 'blank expression on your (their) face(s)'. Yeah, I know.
  2. I remember it well, bloody freezing. I was in a pub pre game (as you do) with @BS3RED and we were asking Saints fans to let us off after 4. It was also the only game where a City fan on one of the official coaches was giving me the 'slit throat' motion even though I had a City shirt on, plank! Safe trip to all attending. U REDS
  3. They can run out to this in future. Any excuse for a bit of Angus.
  4. Probably is but passed their regs at version 5. I just recertified at 18.
  5. I totally agree LR, never want to share a pitch with them again!
  6. We would humiliate them and they know it! I would much rather play a club from the top division regardless. I have a sneaky hope that Scott, Antione, and Lloyd might come back to BS3 for the day.
  7. Far too much for the methanium mob then!
  8. Anyone know if Crewe are any good this season?
  9. We've had the camp nou, their version is the 'blocked view'. They should be pillar-ied for such a disaster.
  10. With the Blades, it's all 3. Are there any other clubs in South Yorkshire? Barnsley and Huddersfield are West aren't they? Doncaster?
  11. The only thing I learnt from the total bore fest this evening is that we have a 125 year lease on what used to be our stadium. The rest was woeful!
  12. That was lively getting out of there! Those little back streets were a nightmare. Like others, the Boleyn, old Den, Ayresome Park, Baseball ground, Tinnion park and Highfield Road (1977) are the ones I liked. Sadly all long gone. Blinding atmospheres though. On the 'intimidating' factor, many fans of other clubs say our place used to be bad back in the day, not that we probably noticed.
  13. Klopp used to do it with the Yellow wall at Dortmund after the players stood in a line doing the same thing. I think he's always done it. Anything to do with the Yellow wall is awesome to be fair.
  14. Why? I always thought it was Man U and Liverpool that detested each other. Is this about the people's Republic of Scousers or something? No keeper was stopping that to be fair.
  15. Fair comment but it was certainly more noticeable yesterday IMHO as said by BCFC01.
  16. Was thinking the same pal. That was better than Rooneys overhead years ago. 99 times out of 100, he doesn't do that! Hell of a goal.
  17. Would Nige have told Dickie not to do that? Very odd if he did.
  18. Not Songs day, that's for sure.
  19. So, given the thread is about 'transition' and not another one bemoaning the fact Nige has gone, did anyone see any particular differences? I certainly thought we were more positive with the ball although it's very, very early to judge.
  20. Personally, I enjoy away games more than home ones so try and do a few. Just my opinion, obviously.
  21. Surely Bradley Orr deserves a place? Pissed up down town and getting arrested. Who was the centre half that was with Brad and Brooker? Was it Dave Partridge?
