Playing the big men and dropped the wingers?
Someone in our club REALLY doesn't get it.
Must admit seems odd no Eliasson.

Surely it is 3.5.2.

Looking at that side - 3-5-2??
Expect Wright would have played on the right if fit. Need to get at them. Come on lads.

Criticism is fine. Your relentless negativity and inability to offer any sort of perspective or recognition of our overall progress is the problem.
What has there been to shout about in 2018!

Sheffield Wednesday are 10 points clear of Barnsley and we beat them 4-0. Ipswich are midtable and we beat them.
So, yes, winnable is a perfectly reasonable description.
Millwall. We won't handle that. No way

With the biggest backing and recruitment of players any manager has ever had
Would expect significant improvement from any manager with that backing
Thank you thank you! Give that man a medal!! Bang on. If only other managers had spent what this guy has mostly wasted!

Smell the coffee everyone. Our results have been unacceptable since Reading at home. Drawing with Burton and Barnsley? Please. It's not good enough. Look at Cardiff and look at us since then. But let's all be happy and dare not criticise the management.
@ChippenhamRed why rubbish this. Are you a happy supporter?

Just waiting to get out of the car park at Oakwell.
Once again, City failed to handle a big journeyman striker, with Kiefer Moore tormenting the back line for both goals and in general play
We're not showing any form and relying on others to stay in the hunt.
Poor again in the final third and got outmuscled once again, demonstrated by Djuric winning few headers.
City must beat Brentford on Monday, but need a huge improvement and braver players to carry that off.
Can't believe the experts on here think Wright is ahead of Flint. Hysterical.

Derby , Millwall and the mighty Burton don’t seem to have had that problem in recent weeks at Oakwell

Is Lee Johnson the man to take this club forward?
No he is not. It's a Tony Fawthrop and the three wise men all over again. At least Scott Davidson was ruthless and had a voice

FFS, sh1t defending by Baker now and it's 2-1.
And Otib think Flint isn't our best centre back!! Like thinking Lee Johnson has any clue. He doesn't.

Bryan does not look too fresh so far.
Correct. Only LJ cannot see it.
The guy continues to be a liability I am afraid. Lets see if he can redeem himself.
City have come out at about half normal speed; gonna lose this one at this rate.
Bailey Wright. He has an error in him week in week out. He doesn't even jump. Nowhere near good enough.

I am wondering exactly how badly Paterson has to play to be dropped?.
I always hope that he will prove me wrong in this poor run of form for player and team, but I cannot believe that he keeps his place and made worse for me seeing Kent on the bench and our own wide man Eliasson not.
Disappointed.
Not a need for Walsh and O Neil on the bench either. Surely Eliasson ahead of one of them. He must be pretty bad if he can't get in this squad. Another LJ/MA transfer disaster.

Isn't that a bit pessimistic when we're in the top 6 already? We're due for a run of wins like we've done a couple of times already this season, the teams below us are nothing special.
Cardiff are average. But are 2nd. Why? Because they have the incredible Neil Warnock.

Given that Pack is out for 2 games now, wouldn’t be surprised to see GON involved Wednesday. Experience like his is much needed. However, likelihood is Brownhill into the middle and Pato back in the lineup.
No too open v Fulham. They'll carve us apart. Magnússon left back. Bryan on the left midfield.

I can’t see us finishing higher next season than this.
Flint, Bryan & possibly Reid will all go.
Absolutely fuming. We’ve completely ****** this. Again. We can say “it’s not what we do” but basically all that means is “we don’t get promoted to the premier league”.
Teams that spend big when their stock is high, and strengthen when they’re on top, go up. End of story.
2 of the 3 players we brought in in January werent trusted to play today. 1 of them has been ripped apart 2 games in a row for being too selfish. 1 of them has been an unused sub 2 games in a row.
A strong bench and we see that game out comfortably. But we are STILL resorted to bringing on Woodrow as a sub. We knew he wasn’t good enough in October.
We will never learn
Totally. We never do learn. But SL will never push the boat out for top high earners. We needed that in January. If we lose those 3 players there is not a chance we will sign three quality players as good. Our transfer record for me is questionable.

I am not a fan and Bryan is not a left back. Those issues need addressing before we consider Premier football.
I just don't rate Bailey Wright that highly. When Pisano is fit Wright needs to be dropped. Committed player but football is hard and you can't play everyone.

Can we all stop talking about the f’ing Playoffs!!! We ain’t staying in the top six. We will do well to stay above 10th!! Good season turning out to be very bang average and a season which will just dwilndle along till May.
We've missed an opportunity. We didn't buy experience in January.

Our best players Baker, Flint, Fielding, Smith, Pack, Bryan, Reid all came from before the Ashton/Johnson era. I'm really not convinced we get it right in the market. Lots of players brought in who just sit there on the bench or the stand

Well i haven't posted on here for a while. Has been interesting watching from afar. Made it clear as day that we needed experience in January. Our signings were so poor. LJ already doesn't trust Walsh or Diony it seems. You need to sign players who are better than your first 11. We've made up the numbers. What a fragile group of players without Baker and dare I say it Pisano. Need those two back and Wright and Magnússon sadly out

He wouldn't fit into our team according to some. Albert is terrorising us

Usual pathetic overreaction from a few.
Go a goal down at Villa and there'll be talk of slumps and being lucky to finish midtable.
I think we all know that we missed a massive opportunity tonight.
