  1. Wouldn't surprise me with the absolute shambles that is Bristol City that in 12 months time we will be right in the shit in relegation places, Manning gets the boot and Tinnion makes himself "interim" manager for the final 6 games of the season. He can then claim he has managed a Championship side.
  2. Wouldn’t surprise me, scousers are a tetchy bunch at the best of times
  3. You are clueless. You say he "inherited" Scott & Semenyo? He was the one who brought them through........you carry on playing Fifa & leave the forum to the adults.
  4. Didn't say he invented as such, just don't believe they could be proper "fans" of Ipswich if they have a low opinion of Ashton after all the shite they have endured both on the pitch & off of it (managers/board ect) over the past 23 years or so since their last relegation from the Prem, maybe more Dave's opinion of Ashton came through more from his side than theirs - "That Ashton is a right ****, proper t w a t aint he" - "Haha, yeh ok mate" for example. He's their Golden Goose......sure it could go tits up, but it looks like Ashton has found the perfect home, particularly as he had such a big role in the takeover to begin with, so i can imagine he is fully invested. I think he will carry on succeeding at Ipswich, despite how much it might piss off City fans.
  5. Be very surprised if many/any Ipswich fans would think Mark Ashton is a "t w a t" - they are on the brink of promotion to the Prem after coming straight up from league 1 with Ashton at the helm. Very odd take for an Ipswich "fan" to have. It's understandable from us to think that way, but he's done nothing wrong at Ipswich for them to have that view.
  6. Not sure how people can look at what’s happening to Sheff Utd & decide that they never want promotion in case we also have a shocker……but what about if we did a Luton? Sure, may go down but certainly giving it a good go, i would take that. Or god forbid maybe we would even do a Brentford or Bournemouth and consolidate for a few years? This of course would never happen under the current setup, but to just write off ever wanting to get promotion is such an odd mindset that i have never been able to understand.
  7. Thats why i said i think we will somehow get lucky with a couple of results, we won’t stay up due to Manning, but due to the points we already have on the board & for how shite Rotherham are meaning there is only 2 places left. Can see us finishing as low as around 19th however.
  8. I think we will be safe this season only because 6 points should be enough, ss there are really only 2 spots left for grabs. We have 3 home games against Blakcburn, Rotherham & Huddersfield - i know in recent evidence it is stupid to think we will win these, but i think we will somehow get lucky & win at least a couple more games this season. However, i am extremely worried about next season with Manning & Tinnion, i think they will lead us to relegation. They need booting out now.
  9. Yeh, he can go after that….not sure anything proper changes until the fat **** who somehow got himself a job as “tecknical director” goes, but that was unacceptable.
  10. William, TGH & King as a midfield 3, with Sykes and Knight either side of Wells?
  11. Yeah i think we would, especially if he makes it clear he won't be signing a new deal & if Manning wants to sign a new striker, would make sense to get a couple of million for him instead of nothing in the summer. I also think he would want to make a move to top end team that will create chances, even if it's the same division as us, so if a team like a Burnley came knocking & we rejected, we could have a very unhappy player on our hands. Would much rather him sign a new deal, but i really don't see this club progressing much in the next 2 or 3 years with the way the club is currently run (not a knock so much at Manning even though i don't think we look very good at all under him, but i can't see any manager succeeding whilst Tubbion has such a big say in matters) so can fully get him wanting out.
  12. Hoping when he moves on this summer that it will be to a top end promotion competing team, maybe even Burnley or Sheffield Utd as they will likely need a new striker. He won't get game time at a Prem club yet, but playing for a top level Championship team that will create 2 or 3 chances a game for him (he's lucky if he even gets 1 chance here) would see him hit 15-20 goals a season quite comfortably. Some of the comments on here about him are a joke, he's only 21 ffs & being asked to play a tough role whilst having injuries throughout the season. He could also go down the easier but more illustrious route of a move to Rangers or Celtic, which would probably guarantee him international appearances as well.
  13. Think that is a bit harsh - his first 3 seasons at United he was their best player, but was always made the scapegoat, despite just how awful of a team he had to play with. Always thought he was outstanding for France & if he would of joined Man City over United i'm sure he would of been one of the best in the Prem, instead he wasted his career trying to carry a terrible United team. The amount of stick he got from fans probably made him fall out of love with the game in the end. Added in to that his family shenanigans, i don't think he has ever had the best people around him to advise him, especially when his hanger on brothers appear to have tried blackmailing him.
  14. If Aden Flint & Marlon Pack were given abuse, despite both having achieved & given way more than a bloke whose most recognised at the club for some idiots who couldn't pronounce his name deciding to call him "Dave", then i highly doubt or would expect that he will be getting a warm welcome.
  15. Being honest, i thought he looked extremely raw & nowhere near ready for first team Championship football. Would of been nice to of got him a League 1 or 2 loan for the rest of the season instead of non league, but can't see this loan harming him especially if he can get a few goals to give him some real confidence going in to pre-season.
  16. Thought i would try the tickets early as i got the email just before half 8....it worked, so don't bother waiting until 9!
  17. Asseater chats pure bollocks
  18. Sack Tubbion, even if Manning goes it will be just another cuck hired for him to play around with. Nothing changes until he is gone.
  19. Didn’t see it or listen, but a bit worrying losing this week to what is a bad side & last week against another bad side……how the hell has it changed so much since the Soton win!?!?
  20. Brian Tinnion - ***. Very good League 1 player, not fit to ever be mentioned in legendary brackets along the likes of Big John.
  21. Said it at the time, what a ******* waste of a signing. Was never going to be a permanent & even more shocking now that we have paid money for him when he’s going to have no importance to the outcome of our season at all……..but he is a cracking player, no doubt of his ability, but an absolute waste of money for us. Well done Tinnion.
  22. Had no idea Nathan Jones was their manager! Bloody hell, what a drop from last year…….i know he’s a manual manipulator, but didn’t think he would end up that far down.
  23. The **** are you on about? Get ******. Dont tell me to do “research” when you sound like the one who needs it. Why the hell are you mentioning “re-education camp”? Edit: just an additional follow up, who do you mean by “big pharma”? I have my own opinions on the vaccines ect, but the ones who usually spout off about “big pharma” seem to be Joe Rogan soy boys, i’m sure you’re not one of them are you? Please enlighten me with your research.
  24. Lockdown did wierd things to everyone, probably best not to hold that against him. I’m sure in the cold light of day he would think of things differently.
