  1. McCrorie is always willing to take a man on…..but he’s a full back, not Cristiano Ronaldo, of course he will lose the ball at times.
  2. An “enforcement” for no shows? **** me, I miss the vast majority of night games due to not having enough time to finish work, shower, eat dinner and then make it to the ground in time. And sometimes, in the middle of winter or if its been pissing down all day, then sometimes you would rather just stay at home with family than watch a terrible game of football! Fully behind a resale potentially if you are not attending the game, but to try and “enforce” something for not turning up to games (which they have already paid for) is complete madness, would never ever happen.
  3. You realise McCrorie has only recently come back from a potential career ending injury/medical issue? Give the guy a break, he has actually looked pretty decent but isn’t going to be anywhere near his best for another month or so i doubt, when he can actually complete 90 minutes.
  4. Something about Mehmeti that reminds me of a worse version of Ryan Kent……maybe it’s the gloves, or the fact that he constantly looks like he is chewing on a wasp……or that he is just a bit shit
  5. Not sure how it would work registration wise, but could it come down to him having 3 or 4 games and his heart not being fully in it, that Derby then decide to end the loan & just send him to us instead? Hopefully this wouldn’t happen, but just a thought perhaps, particularly if as you mention fans start to get at him.
  6. Delighted with this! Hopefully he can have a good end of the season with Derby (escaping any injuries!). A starting midfield 3 of TGH, Knight & Bird is quite an exciting prospect to look forward to.
  7. Has it been confirmed that there is an option by City? Much more happy if this would be the case, but as a rule i was much more happier with Pearson’s opinion on loan signings, particularly if this lad & Twine are both class for the rest of the year without any options, could lead to a bit of an awkward summer.
  8. Majority will ignore the good points you make & just go along & yap exactly what your last paragraph states. Edit: or hit you with the emoji!
  9. Not criticising either, but completely different in the fact that Tammy may not of had any appearances, but was very highly rated & expected to break in to the Chelsea team sooner or later! Hopefully this lad can be a 1/4 as good as Tammy.
  10. Meh. Another loan signing seems a bit pointless.
  11. I must be watching a completely different season……the bloke will end up playing for a team better than us within a couple of years.
  12. Our keeper is shite, very lucky he’s an academy product as that seems to save him from criticism that many of our other keepers have faced over the years. Sure, he makes the odd great save here and there (as does every other keeper at this level) but he wouldn’t be number 1 at many, if at all any, at this level. Worse than Dean Gerken.
  13. That pesky bloody Dave Rennie…..it’s all his fault!
  14. Already seen online from City that there is a big banner thing of Tinnion in Section 82
  15. Just hope that if he has a successful spell here & he seems happy at the club, that it is all sorted nice & early in the pre-season one way or the other so we don't spend the whole summer on here with a "will he, won't he" saga that we had with Tomlin!
  16. So is there genuinely no buy option then? Only positive is that it’s not an obligation of £5mil……but this seems a real dumb way of using some of the Alex Scott resources.
  17. Wouldnt be too surprised if Burnley try moving the goalposts late in the talks. I really dont rate Kompany (despite all the media hype) & would be amazed if he kept them up…..surely they would want Twine to spend another 6 months out on loan getting fully up to speed with the Championship then going back in the summer ready for them to challenge for promotion again the following season. Hopefully if that is the case we would walk away from the deal…..all will be revealed in the next couple of days. If no news tonight i wouldnt be too surprised if we don’t hear anything until the day after West Ham.
  18. Loan without an option just makes no sense at all, if anything im edging more to it being a permanent deal over just a straight loan.
  19. Wasn't the supposed deadline for him to be recalled at midnight last night/this morning? If so, you would of expected Hull to of announced this by now, especially if they have missed out on him. If not, would probably seem more likely that a permanent move to Hull is the preference.
  20. Based on his stats (which i know you can’t always judge by) at this level, i would argue he hasn’t done enough for his price to of increased. Burnley overpaid for him to begin with in my opinion, but due to parachute payments they were able to do so without it being a massive risk. I think anyone buying him now aren’t buying him for what he has done so far at this level, but more so for what he done at MK & Newport with the apparent potential to do the same at this level. So in my opinion his value hasn’t increased higher than the money Burnley paid, if anything i think £4mil would be a million too much. Burnley may very well want at least £5mil but they would struggle to find a buyer at that price.
  21. I think it’s come from a “source” online, i think James Piercy did a piece where apparenlty Burnley wanted £5mil. I agree with you, i really can’t see it being that much either tbh. If Burnley were to get relegated i could see them wanting close to that as they may use him in this league next year, but if they stay up i can’t see them demanding that as i don’t see how anyone would pay that much, especially as they only paid £4mil themselves.
  22. I have only seen it stated on here, which is why i have stated “assume” multiple times in the posts i have made. If it’s a loan for no money or a straigh transfer for less £3mil or less then happy ******* days!
