  1. Wonder if we might see a mutual agreement for Nige to leave. Beginning to think his health is becoming a factor. If he’s not well enough to be at games what happens at the HPC during the week? Impaired health not what you need with the pressure of trying to sort this mess out. His health and well-being has to be paramount. Discussions during the international break? Wouldn’t surprise me.

But in respect of Mark Ashton there is plenty you can and should do for a bloke who was taking £450k out of the club every year. Directors and senior employees typically have non-solicitation clauses in their contracts which exist for a reason to stop a mass grab of staff by departing leaders and are much more enforceable than non-compete clauses.

Happily, as @billywedlock alludes to, it's probably the case that we didn't care about the people he's hijacked. Mark is building himself quite an empire at Portman Road. The Americans must be absolutely lapping up the BS. Might get in contact with them myself to tell them about my royal uncle in Nigeria who needs to get his wealth out of the country.

Strange, I have a Nigerian royal uncle, too, plus a fine lady in Florida, I believe, who urgently needs to offload cash. That’s unless Wael Meet Again has already sent her his bank details. Coming For Us…….soon-ish.

  3. CF and NP obviously close as former team mates with a history going back a long way. My view is that we are a bit more “grown up” these days. It was a criticism of the LJ years that he’d been given too much, “too many toys” was sometimes said. Not his fault, TBH, but it doubtless led to the tinkering and uncertainty, players sidelined etc, that we often saw. No such luxury these days for Nige but the impression when listening to Curtis is that the two of them are open and honest with no attempt to baffle us with the coaching complexity and excuses of recent seasons. That will be a blessed relief even if we only finish 10th-15th.

Showed how good he was playing CM top-flight for Norwich.  Was a key player for them in their euro glory days.

Always reminded me of Desperate Dan with his chin.

One of my all time City favourites. Always 100% and chucked in the deep end Feb 1982 at 18 when the club was skint. Became a key figure in our revival. Knew he’d been at Man City a while and great to see him alongside Moysie, another good un. Known as Buzz Lightyear when boss at Cambridge United. The chin innit. Wish them both much success at the ‘Ammers.

They could of course have an exhibit of their fans in a cage grunting, picking fleas out of each other`s hair and throwing their faeces at each other. Just need to chuck in some out of date crisps and stale pasties now and again to feed them.

People could take their kids to see it as a warning about what happens if they choose to support the s*gs.

    Usual “match day” experience?

Someone posted on here last week, a (probably baseless) rumour that a rift had formed between Wael and his family due, allegedly to him having been caught in flagrante. Disgusting if true. (Getting caught, I mean).

I wonder if this is linked to Hani stepping down from Dwane in a sort of "you're on your own now, bro"  sort of way?

Caught in flagrante, eh? Was it the watch that gave him away or the bag of out of date crisps?

Give me your poor, your tired, your huddled masses (now reduced to about 6000) & if you could all stick a few bob in the beer mug being passed around I can get a new watch, sorry player

Looks like Ben Garner is going to be manager there.

Really surprised by this because, trying to be as unbiased as possible, I think it’s actually a very good appointment by the sags. Very inexperienced but he’s rated really highly by a lot of top managers. Think it’s a much better appointment than a Nathan Jones or a Hollowhead would’ve been. In terms of realism for the sags, I think this is genuinely the best appointment they could’ve made.

Ben Garner, if he lands the plum job, was working in India with Coppell, it seems. Can't decide if that makes him Agent Garner or the bloke to avenge whatever went wrong with Copps & finally put the Gas in their rightful place above us. Or maybe he became interested in saving endangered species in India. Certainly some scope at the Mem. Those crisps for a start.

    Welcome to SPAS .

The Stephan Payne Appréciation Society .

The Gas player signed for them for a massive £300,000 .

Never put in any effort , hardly bothered the scoring charts .

Comically swore at the Gas supporters .

Had  his contract paid up and finally tells the world that he is happy to play in front of ‘real supporters ‘ .

Mr Payne , I salut you Sir .

Well, the headline in the Evil states that Payne is a "prized prat" so does that indicate that he had some value to the Loyal & True as opposed to the other worthless prats in the side?

  10. Good response Miah. Always enjoy your posts on here. You take everything thrown at you with good humour & often give as good as you get. Again, with humour. Proper Red/Blue banter, acknowledging you're the poor relations but supporting your team despite its shortcomings as is right & proper. Think BTRFTG, who is also a good contributor to debate, has been unfairly dismissive of you. Just my opinion, you deserve better. It was beyond me, too!

My aunt used to have a dog called Rover. Maybe they handed back all the canines that had disappeared from the streets adjacent the Nou Tent?
