Why am I so nervous about this game? Someone settle me down (no, Imodium won't do).
Probably because people are talking like we've only got to take to the pitch to pick up the points. I've read people say things like "I fully expect..."Ours for the taking" "If we score early.. "could be 5 or 6" etc etc
Let's just take it as another difficult game in the Championship, with everything to fight for and let everything else take care of itself.

I think he's happy to hear the sound of his own voice!
There is a worse one, but I forget the name. Comes on most times, and this guy really really loves it

.......and what the hell was Mark on about.
Talking about maybe bringing on Woodrow.
Woodrow never even travelled due to a minor hamstring injury.
True, he never seems happy old Mark

You forgot "Barcelona Rovers FC"
It was only used for one season, but how could anyone forget The Non-League Muppets.
Shame really. I lost any tiny bit of respect I had for non-league after they showed how crap it really must be.

Mock all you like. They are coming for us..!
Imagine supporting a club who couldn't cope with getting promoted to the Championship, so the only way that they can atain their dream of getting level with us, is hope & pray that we lose every week and get relegated to them.
Even that not might achieve their goal, if last week was anything to go by..!
and don't forget they have the chance of being officially better than us tonight, IF they beat Wolves
(Gas logic)

They would probably become the Bay City Rovers and think the name was clever.
Well. they were The Bath City Rovers for many a year

How much can we get Steve Lansdown to pay them to drop the "Bristol" bit of their name. It embarrasses the f8ck out of me, it really does.

Exactly what I suspect. Heard a rumour that when DC signed his new contract, a clause was entered that says he can leave immediately if he wasn't happy with the budget/stadium issues and if a club in a higher division came in for him...
Can see this having some legs...
Zola, Redknapp,
.... that bloke at Bristol Rovers yeah,

Indeed. Actually, Ollie is an intelligent, articulate young man. He is passionate about the blue quartered team.
I can understand entirely why Geoff has him on the show once the match has finished. The test for Ollie would be should we ever play his team.
Should Ollie ever read this thread, you do your team proud....now come over to the red side!
1. unlikely and
2. What, you reckon he'd lose it and start calling us c*n*s live on air?

I'll hold my hands up because i have knocked him. But he seems a nice kid and does follow his football closely. What shitty luck (for him) that his parents were presumably Gas and that he has to support the "wrong" lot. Take your point, he seems ok really and it's always nice to hear people passionate about their footy.

Far to bright that kid, must of been a ted on windup mind
I swear it's only a matter of time before this young man is appointed Gas manager (this guy is young, bright, up-and-coming and here for the long haul, like them other river have got sort of a way) AND he is called Ollie.. what could go wrong?
