  1. I can barely remember an atmosphere like that, we were awesome in that last 10. I’m vocal when the people around me are quiet, it was so fun seeing all fans old and young get totally swept away in the moment. I think yesterday will last long in the memory.

  2. I’ve been a critic of Bakinson, but I thought he was growing into it. Benarous on in his place was truly bizarre to me.

But we won and I trust Nige so so sod it. Congrats on the debut Ayman, big things coming!

  3. The man is a phenomenon. He earns his place on the pitch every game with his obsessive work rate. And his 6 goals have earned us 9 (!) points this season. Two assists as well. Should be in the Austria national team. Forza Andi Weimann.

  4. It's a must win. Not in terms of 'relegation 6 pointer', we're certainly not there yet, but to stop the bloody count regarding this home run. To throw my 2 cents in:

Bentley; Tanner, Kalas, Atkinson, Pring; Weimann, James, HNM, Dasilva; Scott behind Wells.

As for the surprise selections I'm not sure what he could be alluding to. Couldn't really call Vyner or Palmer coming in surprises given they've both been first team regulars fairly recently. But it'd be a big call to be seeing Benarous and Bell. I've always liked the look of Janneh mind.

  5. Obviously we have no way of knowing if everything you’re saying is true, but if you are genuinely connected and this is all factual regarding recruitment it is concerning.

Regarding Nige though, I think this is harsh. With very few signings he has improved us vastly, even without Shakespeare and Walsh. Obviously the last 3 games have been rough but prior to that we were 9th. Better than the 24th form we had second half of last year. Nige is improving us, and once the shaky AG mentality is corrected the table will reflect how far we’ve come under him already.

This isn’t aimed at the club, it’s Manager, SL or anybody officially connected to our club for that matter, it’s aimed at many of our so called ‘fans’.

I too am disappointed at where we are as a club BUT we all know how we have arrived at this point. Significant numbers this season renewed ST’s knowing full well that we have a small squad lacking general quality. We were always destined to struggle this season and anything above the relegation zone was acceptable come the end - we are where we expected to be, surely?

What really annoys me though is the awful, highly personal vitriol spread by many. Football fans now seem to demand instant success and don’t seem to appreciate players and Managers are doing their best plus that they are people after all! They too feel shit after losses and it hurts them badly too.

Why do people bother posting negative rubbish on a regular basis, all it seeks to do is help people spiral into even more of a negative world. Life is hard enough without continually slagging people and situations off. People underestimate how important confidence is in any worker and that includes footballers, imagine being told by many people on a regular basis you are shit at what you do, and they then wonder why you aren’t performing. Are some not aware some of our players are actually kids?

One window into a three year development journey, all aimed at a much needed rebuild exercise and fans are singing about ex players and that NP is getting sacked in the morning, wtf..?

We go again on Saturday when OUR team needs you, and remember if you keep screaming at people that they are shit, they will quickly believe you, I think with the title ‘supporters’ there’s a clue in the title ?.

    ??

  7. I - like many of us - went to that ******* horror show tonight. I got rained on, my burger tasted like ass and a speed bump assaulted my car on the ride home.

We need to forget tonight immediately and move on. Saturday we’re away to a very good team, but thank god we’re away. From the depths of tonight I can see us stealing an undeserved draw. And then we WILL beat Barnsley. The hoodoo will be over. Tonight never happened.

Ps Jack Grealish has Alex Scott bedsheets. Up the City.

    Just seen this on Twitter...

Nigel Pearson has confirmed that all of Bristol City's previously injured first-team players, bar Antoine Semenyo, have returned to training and are in contention to play against Bournemouth on Saturday.

Amazing news. I take it that’s everyone barring Cundy and Conway (and Antoine as stated). Great news ?
