  1. With Tanner's impressive performances recently I've been thinking about his playing future, and was quite pleased to realise Danny Simpson could become something of a mentor to him with his Premier League (winning!) experience. Not fully in the capacity mentioned above though as for now we will need Simpson to come in and play first team minutes a fair few times this season. This also frees up Vyner to cover for the centre halves.
  2. Really big win considering the injuries. Some important players missing so massive credit to the 12 lads involved today, brilliant. This is a well timed international break for us, should get a few back. COYR
  3. GET IN!!! Well done City. Hopefully make Nige feel a bit better too. COYR ?
  4. I’d be very happy to see some young strikers tried. Especially while we’re in no impending danger. Love to see Janneh, Bell or Britton on Saturday.
  5. 10th after 10, very good. We’d have all taken that. Overall, the improvements this season have been vast.
  6. Confirmed injured are HNM ( ? ), Cundy and Conway. But after this troubling Wednesday night Wells, Dasilva, Baker and Williams are all potentially in trouble. And I assume Semenyo. Pray we see some back Saturday.
  7. Draw specialists in the division, and we've been prone to a few ourselves this season, it feels like the game is screaming a gritty 1-1. So expect a 5-3 either way. Hope we give Palmer a shot form the start, let him ride that wave from Saturday and get some form. COYR.
  8. Rest and recover gaffer! Hopefully asymptomatic.
  9. Another enjoyable OSIB this week.
  10. Never want to see a goal scorer dropped, utilise his confidence and start him Wednesday IMO.
  11. He could have Eliasson’s old one. So here’s to you, Robert Atkinson, city loves you more than you will knoooooow Edit: clearly great minds think alike @3peapsinapodcast ?
  12. One of the best individual performances of the season so far. We were made to wait but god he looked excellent.
  13. I'll take 14 points above Derby in September.
  14. See normally I’d think brilliant, back for next Saturday. But the past year makes me think we’re never gonna see the lad again ? just dumb pessimism.
  15. So for now we take the injury list as Conway, Cundy and Baker. Hopefully Vyner, Scott and King’s absences yesterday were rotation and HNM and Weimann were just a bit fatigued at the end of yesterday. We’ll know more next Saturday, nice long break for the lads after yesterdays heroics. COYR!
  16. Quick word on Weimann who I fear may go under the radar. Great awareness for both assists and that’s now 6 goal involvements, which in mid September is excellent.
  17. Anticipating a really tricky test here but being away, I’m praying for a Reading/Crapdiff repeat. That’d also make Fulham next Saturday a free hit, which I think we need it to be! Very cautiously optimistic. COYR.
  18. Yes we played poor, and yes conceding a late equaliser is like being kicked in the nards by a horse. But we’re 12th, which after last year would mark a very successful season should we finish there. We’re improving, this was just a bad night. Onto QPR, COYR. Away thank god ?
  19. I wonder if this isn’t a bit of a must win. Not in terms of where we are in the table but in terms of where we could be after our following 3 (QPR, Fulham, Millwall at the den). Let’s do Luton tonight, take the pressure off those games. COYRRRR
  20. Yea I certainly didn't mean that as a disservice to Pring, think he's been very good. I think it might be a case of not overusing him. Then again, I forgot he's actually 23. I can't help seeing all our academy products as 18 until they retire ?
  21. Yea I’d agree. Think Williams may have a job getting a place, all of James, King and Massengo have had very good starts to the season imo. Think O’Dowda will be pushing Pring hard for the LW slot pretty soon tho. Really interested to see our team selection tomorrow. COYR
