Nice mention on Sykes too, 5 minutes in seen to be treating us nicely
At least Ian Wright seems to have a little background knowledge about us

Watched a little at lunchtime, know nothing of the standard of the French leagues but it didn’t look a very good to me, very laboured pace to the game.

Agreed. I've not said he should be dropped or anything. I just think that what he needs to learn, in time, is that he's playing both with and against better players now, and so can't, and doesn't need to, do everything himself.
His runs are brilliant, and he sucks defenders towards him creating space for teammates. He needs to sometimes pass to those teammates rather than shoot. Not every time, but sometimes. That's what I think he needs to learn.
To be fair to the lad ,he made an amazing run down the left leaving a couple of Sunderland in his wake only to put a superb ball right across the goal but not one of the other strikers were there to tap it home

What’s going to happen to the penalty thread now

Fair play to Wells taking it off Sykes

We’ll miss surely

We seem to have reverted to passing to the opposition for some reason
-
And we can’t even say it was coming

Genuinely thought that was finally going to be the penalty…
Replay says not

So unfortunate not to score then, the interplay certainly warranted a goal

Is that Robbered shaking hands and making up with Gary after all these years?
-
It may not have been the prettiest, but having just watched the highlights from last weekend of Norwich tearing PNE a new one away from home it makes you appreciate what a great effort that was yesterday.

Things must have taken a downward turn as Otib is blaming the ref again.
step 2 will be blaming NP
All so predictable from Ashton Gate
Personally I am optimistic for a second goal
Predictably poor officials -
Just another premier ref having a love in with their old mates

The camera work really is terrible.
Watching a replay of Norwich missing when all you can hear is the crowd roaring a counter attack
