But havent newport survived and got back in the league. Can you name a longstanding league club who have go e out of existence?
I just typed Accrington then realised their back, but it takes years, Bradford park avenue went under and they are gone and I'm sure they were around for years, pretty sure there were two teams in Brighton but don't quote me

Its really does seem like a slow motion road crash. However much we laugh they are a club with passionate support over generations and they will not die but i could see them becoming a non-league/league two yo yo club. They wont do a Brighton because Bristol is a two club town.
If 50% of the rumours are true their looking at the Newport county scenario not league 1 or 2.
i don't see any other way out of it for them, it's simple math, if expenditure exceeds income with no prospect of that changing then once any asset values are equal to the losses it's game over, unless they strike oil at the mem.

The clueless one needs to make a change at half time . It didn't work for 90 minutes v Brentford and it's not working here.
Take fielding off ? Don't tempt fate

Honestly, think we have, they're pressing hard all over the pitch and we're playing a much slower passing style, they can run that much for 90. I bet we start the 2nd half with the kind of tempo we normally start the 1st with.
Let's hope so, back in it a bit more last five

City look a yard slower to react, no crisp pass and move like we had .v. Barnsley, struggling to string any forward passes together...
That because they've done their homework, just hope we've done ours, at the mo it doesn't look like it

Have I missed something, have the uwe stated they are still going ahead with the development themselves? Withought wally and his merry band of delusionaughts

The mad thing is he's probably not, probably still thinks wally the trillionair is buying up expensive real estate as we speak to build a park and ride to bus in the hoards for the new Olympic stadium in horfield

Why stop at 20000, plan big and aim for the stars !
Wael commented that the Mem site is exactly the same as that for Evertons 40,157 Goodison park.
which has a record attendance of over 78,000 !....imagine that on Filton avenue .
Goodison has housing right around the ground.- 1

I may have skipped over this bit. Have they actually an application in, and does anyone know what they have 'planned' ??
Perhaps the Billionaire has sneaked in plans for a 27,001 all seater with me noticing.I'm pretty sure no planning has been submitted
wonder why ?

That's what I've thought. They say they've submitted plans for the training ground . If so it would be on the council website, available too view. They would be showing off on slagchat and social media but I've seen nothing.
Is it only me that every time i hear the words colony I immediatly think lepers ?

I'm sure this has been said many, many times on this thread previously but the level of delusion, even after the events of the last week, is absolutely staggering
Im actually convinced that there's reds all over slag chat, surely real people don't believe the horse sh"t coming out of that Jordanians mouth.
ive actually tried stop looking at it as it makes me laugh out loud, but I can't it's comedy gold

Would we still have Bodin?
Would we have 10x amount of staff we do now? including sport science, which may I add is clearly doing a great job judging by the extremely low injury list!
Would we have submitted planning application for new training ground?
Would we have Hamer, who saw the transition of swansea to their new stadium in 2005?
NOOOOO, so quit being little girls whispering in the playground.
Best thing since sliced bread, has become one of us, what owner do you know who stands in the terraces with the crowd? his brother last game of the season during promotion at half time came into the blackthorn end for the second half.. im thrilled with the family and THANK YOU so much for finding out that this deal was not right for OUR club! saved us from a right wolf in sheeps clothing!- 6

12 minutes agoQuote Do a 'Monaco'. 18,500 seat stadium with an athletics track built above a four storey car park, indoor sports arena, swimming pool, offices and a business university. Yes, they have pitch problems, but they are caused by poor design of the stands, not the overall concept. Plus the stadium is 32 years old - more things are possible now.- 1

The delusion of some of them still beggars belief. If Dwayne Sport made a planning application tomorrow to build 50 town houses on the mem, they still wouldn't see it as a problem and think it's all part of the master plan for UWE to give in to their demands.
They could ask everyone to pay 50 quid each week for the dwayne sports exit fund and they'd have people queuing up to hand over their cash

Renting Ashton gate or playing at Clifton rugby, then talking premier league and 35000 all seater stadium
its Olympic standard delusion of epic proportions

debt accumulating at 1.5 million a year

As City fans, we've been treated to some excellent laughs over the last couple of days.
The non-stadium debacle is very amusing indeed, but take time to spare a thought for those less fortunate than ourselves.
With relations between R****s and UWE breaking down, prospective new students may never again get the chance to laugh so heartily at the g*s as they did at last year's freshers' fair...
This is fantastic, simply fantastic
