    Self Esteem - Offspring . I was telling my 15 year old nephew about this great song - which is probably older than him - when I played it to him , he already knew it. Their headmaster at school had used it in assembly when talking about the importance of self respect. How good is that ?

    There isn't no Sanity Clause - The Damned . ( The Damned's only go at a christmas single- it was a play on words and although I've seen the Damned loads of times , I've never seen them play it )

    Amazing skinhead/ska band from the 80s. Check out their album 'Neither Washington nor Moscow but International Socialism'. In my top 10 albums of all time. 

    Seen the Redskins at The Trinity Hall in Old Market , back during the miners strike - they were doing a "Coal nor Dole " benefit gig. I think Billy Bragg was also performing. The  Redskins were excellent.

    Crazy Horses - Tank.  When Algy Ward left The Damned he formed a metal ( ish ) group called Tank. They released an excellent cover of the Osmonds Crazy Horses. Worth searching out.
