Do you really think that he would change anything preseason if we finished with five boring 1-0 Swansea style wins ?
That would be seen as his style and beliefs being the right ones and bringing results.
If that happened then buckle up for more of the same next season !
If we could break down the poorer football playing teams 1-0 not playing well and get wins and good performances against the better teams then I would take that all day long as we would probably end up in the play offs!

Only seen the highlights, some good saves by max.
Sliced open a few times at the back, guessing we missed Dickie loads?
Another clean sheet and a point to the tally.
2 home games up next against teams fighting for points near the end of the season, interesting couple of games how we play

Won a few free kicks today, was like watching Alex Scott the way he initiates contact, very clever.

Fantastic game today with 3 very good saves. Also not a single kick straight out for a throw in! Great distribution today

Here's a question then, how did Nige's teams do against sides that sit in? Or indeed LJ's?
Wouldn’t mind seeing the stats on that.
I think we definitely better under nige against those sides. Grinding out the results.

Great win today and a superb performance from the lads. Vardy off day not to bury some of those chances he would normally slot home every game, max superb in the sticks also.
It’s another prime example of playing under manning. Great against teams who come at us and we can play counter football as has shown this season. We never had that ability before he came against the big teams in the league I don’t think?
At the same time we can’t break teams down who sit deep under mannings style. So frustrating. -
Amazing that with all the negativity at the moment, one of the positive things we can look forward to next season with a good signing has a post with negative spin about him joining if we were relegated ffs.
It’s as if some people want us to go down just for personal gratification for getting rid of Nige.- 2

All but mathematical safety confirmed.
Now is the time to act, get rid of Manning, utilise King/others to see us through the season and then get ready to make a managerial announcement ready for next season.
We can (high majority) all see that Liam Manning isn’t the man for this job.
if only the technical director had any ounce of credibility about himself
Just out of interest who do we bring in instead of manning to take us forward? Who could bring more out of the is squad?
Massive win today after some dismal results since Southampton game

Funny to think just over 2 weeks ago we were thinking 3 very winnable games coming up and a chance of a play off push and absolutely nothing from those games
if we would of won all 3 we would still be in 8th and 3 points off the play offs.
I still think we are playing better football under manning, but today’s team selection was an absolute joke. Thats on him today

Just wonderful
Joe Williams MOTM. Some of his passing was superb.
Totally agree. His performances have been superb of late, passing has been top notch. Great corner for Dickies header aswell.
Has really found some top form under Manning. -
2 sloppy goals cost us 3 points tonight but lots of positives to take I thought. Coventry on a good run of form recently
Cornick actually looked ok coming on for the first time in a while, great reflex save from cov keeper at the end after his shot deflected.
Big confidence booster for Nahki grabbing that goal, great finish.
Big test Friday night against Leeds, not a bad performance to take into that game IMO.

Superb tonight, listened to his interview on bbc Bristol on the way home in the car and he says he’s still only at 80%

Looks a totally different player under manning for some reason. Been superb recently

Like it or not, this team appears to be playing for him. Whether it's something that the previous management have instilled in the team remains to be seen but it's a good habit. Coyr!
It’s nothing to do about the team playing for the new manager. It’s the style of football he wants to play. The team played for Pearson 100% just as they are for manning.

I honestly can’t believe the negativity after the first month under with Liam manning. We are kidding ourselves that we played a more positive game under Pearson? Yeh we might have been more drilled defensively than concede that late winner against Norwich, but would we have gone on and got a late winner against boro when throwing away a 2-0 lead? No chance
As much as I loved Nigel Pearson and what he did at the club with absolutely **** all money, he’s gone. Let’s move on.
I think we are playing better more attacking football already then we did under nige with the squad we have. Losses away to Blackburn and Southampton are part and parcel of a hard championship season. There would have been no surprise in losing these games under Pearson by a single goal?Get behind the manager please

Most well drilled team we have had for a while IMO . Knight settling in well in midfield and we have cover in key positions we didn’t have last year (king playing centre back for example)
Just don’t look good enough in the final third for me. That will be the difference.
Good start to season for me- 2

Nige's summary: it was a rotten game.
Very negative about our performance.
That was his first sentence. Spot on I thought. Game was crap, just some Conway magic the difference

2 superb finishes. That finish for the second goal, the composure! Unreal
Exactly what we have been missing up front.

A369 from M5 jct 19 will be open for journey into ground but is shut from 8pm that night. Will need to go A370 and down to Weston to get home. Expect announcement from club/NSC before game hopefully.

All Hummel shirts had stick on transfers of club logo/ sponsor and shirt supplier
O’Neills stuff is all printed on shirt apart from city logo. Doesn’t look as good as high Rez prints but more longevity.

Small adults were sold out about 7.30pm tonight when I tried to get 2 for my boys. Hopefully back in stock soon but how can shirts be sold out already? Perhaps only small batch made for release? Looking now no adult men’s shirts available at all…..

As much as max deserved his run in the first team, and letting Bentley go to free up wages made sense, I can’t help but think we would of picked up a few more points if we still had Dan. Max distribution has got worse since he’s secured the number 1 spot, few mistakes.
He needs some competition next year for the jersey. Bentley was immense today for wolves, enjoyed watching that- 2

Prob one of Scott’s worst appearances today. Take nothing away though, he’s been absolute class this season and will be sorely missed if he moves on

Not sure throwing him on with another newbie is a good idea. Wouldn't mind Pearson staggering the forward subs so that we keep some of that pace up top because Cornick certainly doesn't have it
Cornick is not an impact substitute for me. I think with a decent run of games he could be decent, but he needs to start. That chance bell had early in the game tonight he could have buried. How he gets that chance I just don’t know. He looked decent against Norwich and had he scored that one on one or squared it to mehmeti to tap into an empty net it could be a different story. Bringing him on chasing goals just isn’t working.
We aren’t scoring from open play at the moment anyway so I would start him sat against blackpool
Glad to see the back of that season.

Funny old season with a big loss last game against Stoke to put a dampener on what was a strong finish to our championship campaign, with again nothing to play for promotion/relegation wise.
Ended up this season goals wise with +53 scored and -51 conceded in the championship
Our campaign in championship play off final loss against Hull in 07/08 season was +54 scored and -53 conceded. Worse
Tight Margins in a very tough league
