  1. That's shit to hear, I can't give any sound advice about your wife as i've never been in the situation, but I know how feeling down and fed up feels, Just make sure you talk about how it's making you feel always good to get it out and maybe see how your wife is feeling when she gets home and make a decision when things are a bit clearer. ( Sorry if that's rubbish advice ) If ever you need a chat just drop me a message or speak to others you might know on here.
  2. So sorry to hear that BigTone, such a tough thing to have to decide on.
  3. Not sure if he was signed by SOD just thought he came through the academy.
  4. Anyone remember him as a youngster at city, not sure he made many 1st team appearances if any at all, He's just been announced as Dovers new manager he's only 28. Good to see someone so young given a chance.
  5. Actually looking forward to the game this week, I think the injuries to Andi and Tommy could force Nigel's hand with the formation so will be interesting to see what he does or maybe he will just revert to the usual 3-5-2, I'm feeling positive for 3pts, but I dread to think what the atmosphere will be like if we let an early goal in, If people are going to try and create an atmosphere in the dolman corner I hope it's a positive one, we need to get behind the players from the first whistle. C.O.Y.R
  6. Just saw the news that West ham co-owner David Gold has passed away condolences to his family and friends. R.I.P
  7. It's only till the end of the season and their statement suggests they didn't actual want him to leave in the first place he walked away. But it is a bit odd to keep going back to him.
  8. Good move for him needs to go and get experience somewhere. Hopefully it works out well for him.
  9. Be sad to see them both go, But if it generates the funds to get us out of trouble then so be it.( Thats if we use the money wisely obviously). I think Scott is worth more than Semenyo personally so if were rejecting £12m for Semenyo then god knows how much we value Scott as.
  10. Never easy losing anyone under any circumstances sorry for your loss. My great auntie died 2 days after xmas she was in her 90's but was relatively fit and well.
  11. I voted no, I think its the club that is the problem and has been for a while, we've been too soft for a long time now....people have to remember we wanted someone proven....and someone that would come In and take no punches, Pearson does that and maybe sometimes he's a little harsh but the truth hurts sometimes especially when it's about something we all love like our club, I do get though that we can't afford to go down, but I don't know who comes in and changes this....yes ok maybe a manger bounce and a bit of confidence back for a few games but, we'd still have the same problem in the long run because some.players simply aren't good enough for this level sadly.
  12. I am in the camp of keeping Pearson based on the fact that some of our players simply aren't good enough, I've felt he needs time to sort that problem out........... but he really is begining to irritate me with his speaking out about players, he's tried lots of different players at the back and things still aren't improving they can't all not be good enough, and like lots have said he doesn't take responsibility or not much anyway, I still think a new manager would have the same problems but may add some confidence to the squad, which I think is lacking. I think if we drop into the bottom 3 then the board may have to react. Just hope its not to late by then.
  13. Just watched this video, a wonderful human being who deserves all the recognition he gets. Are there actually any plans for a testimonial or anything else to show our appreciation?
  14. I can definitely relate to this, been struggling mentally for the past few weeks, going down the gate always helps with my mental health, despite the recent results, ever need a chat feel free to message ?
  15. I only saw the one from the club tbf, good that he does say its his team, I want Pearson to be given more time personally, but I think the majority of fans are turning.
  16. Has anyone spoken to the media after tonight's game not seen anything from the club yet Just seen actually Pearson has spoken doesn't take any responsibility though.
  17. Really good idea would love to take part but sadly can't make wednesdays
  18. I can't always make out the words to the songs sat in the dolman does anyone know what the song is I think they sing something like" let's go out tonight"......I can't make out the rest ?
  19. Wasn't it this time last season Pearson dropped Bentley or was that earlier?. I expected changes tonight but that wasn't one of them.
  20. Yes that would be a great way to do it, or at least a Nathan Baker day at a home game or something. Yes potentially with Bamba, but I think the club would have been aware along time ago he was going to retire just waiting for him to be ready to publicly announce it.
  21. Such a shame but has to do what's best for him and his family, hopefully the club can arrange something for the fans to show their appreciation to him.
  22. Would one option be when kalas comes back slot him into vyners place, put klose in the middle of the 3 and push naismith into dm and have Scott and Williams in cm, naismith looks to good on the ball to have him trying to spray passes 20 yards in our own half ?
  23. Hey everyone just thought i'd check in been a while since I posted how is everyone doing ? When I last posted I mentioned I was about to start counseling...wasn't sure what to expect but its definitely helped alot, would highly recommend it to anyone struggling. I've not had as many down days as I did before so that's been an amazing feeling.
