  1. Josh taylor is the most decorated boxer in british history since I've been alive I think.

Such a strange sport when you're talent is secondary to ticket selling and promotion.

Boxing is probably my favourite sport so not hating, but Taylor to AJ poles apart although be it different weight classes and Taylor is still unknown to many sports fans.

The pictures doing the rounds show bleeding and rather nasty bruising that is GBH he's in a whole lots of trouble for that alone, I've litterally seen the pictures thats it, I'm not intrested in reading the comentry.

The problem she might have though (Not a lawyer) by not  going direct to the police is this could predudice her case and it might not be prosecuatable which ever way you cut it thats a trip to a crown court.

    Definitely not GBH .

I'd be worried  about a rape charge if I was him though, whether it can be proven though as stated by other posters.

  3. Fantastic city.

I'm not from here and have lived in a a handful of places in the uk. For me it has a big enough city with whatever you want and can always hit the country side wherever you are.

I live in east bristol , St George  so can walk into town, but also get down on the river and in no time I feel like I'm in the sticks. Go all the way to Bath and beyond with lovely countryside.

The prices on property have boomed massively in the last 10 years though and I cant see them dropping much as many coming from London ?

Who, what, where or how are “peds”? (Genuine question!)

    Performance enhancing drugs. ?

Some of them dont look normal at all. A lot of growth hormone I suspect.

Obviously good players in the first place, but I'd be amazed if the muscle on some of them is just hard work and diet ?

  5. How do some of these lads look like this.

I think there is a lot of peds being used in rugby. That prop 18 stone no fat on him ? natural not a chance. As bad as the tour de france.

    I love rugby though

  6. I've fitted many and unblocked a few. Personally I  dont like them at all and would try not to install one if you dont need to.

I had one in town that kept blocking up and I literally had raw sewage going through the light fitting into the kitchen below... The chef was not impressed ??

How does that compare with the age equivalent male teams?

Bristol city boys are treated differently. No fees , mini buses, kit on time/ more kit.

I just think they should be treated equally as the girls have earned the right to be there aswell.

Seems strange to me when the owner is worth billions but still charges the academy's parents so that the womens team is funded.

  8. Times rich list today claims Lansdown is worth £1.35 billion.

He hasn't invested in the womens game and charges parents of the girls academy a fee to play and kit,  even though they have trialed and earned there right to play.

Proper disgrace for equality imo , He might not even know but he should do.

  9. The divide between league 1 and the championship is definitely getting bigger.

Look at the three who came up Luton, Barnsley and Charlton they're probably going down without Wigan having points deducted.

It's becoming like the gap  between the prem and the championship. To much money in both leagues.

I used to run the towpath series. It was the standard of a good club runner. I was sometimes five minutes behind the County runners.

Yes sorry I got mixed up.

I read Ronniie o'Sullivan's book and he mentions his best time being sub 35 and was going to quit snooker to try and get his time lower so that he could run for Essex  as he thought he maybe able to knock more minutes off.

Runs sub 35 10k's and makes centurys with either hand in snooker.

Best 10k was 34 minutes, half marathon 1.24 I no longer take part in races due to age meaning I was far off my best and I had little motivation to run as slowly as I was, and was becoming . Still run several times a week but just to maintain a level fitness.

That's a really good time 10k , I  might be wrong but I think that is county level.

I might join a running club after this covid 19 settles down and aim for a sub 36 minute 10k .

Apparently you could knock off a couple of minutes wearing those vapourfly/ Alphafly Nike trainers

Don't get me wrong I'm not 100% AJ fan either. His conviction for dealing drugs seems to be a forgotten thing.  I know the Hearns are protecting him somewhat but I don't think its fair to say he hasn't stepped up and faced most fighters in the top 5-10 in the world.  It would have been a whole different world if Fury hadn't have been away from the game for 2+ years that for sure.

On a plus note at least Lomo is fighting on Saturday.. how can anyone not like this chap? ?

I agree he has stepped up and beaten who is in front of him and showed tremendous guts in doing so against Wlad and Povetkin. I just don't get the love in for him.

    Lomo what a fighter

To be fair Fury is the one with an actual drug conviction.

Yeah I know and he's the one I prefer which is odd , but was it all to strip him of his belts and hence Eddie buys the belts of Martin.

How is any of that his fault?

Whyte, Fury, Parker have all basically insinuated about him using peds , none have been sued. No smoke without fire.

I have the same opinion  on pacquiou,  when he was going through everyone. Look at the weight classes he's gone up and retained if not increased his power.

Then the fight with mayweather was on the horizon and mayweather was calling out for stringent testing....

Manny then loses his power overnight.

I do think AJ possibly is the best out there though with exception of the possibility of being out boxed by Fury. However I wont be routing for him even though hes british

    Why the hatred?

    Plenty of reasons

    How he obtained belts

How he's been carefully media trained and everyone buying into him. He's so nice haha

People would turn up to watch him beat his dog.

Mainly though at some point or now I reckon he's juiced up to the gills, look at his bloated gut. Boxing is mainly cardio not bodybuilding. How he recovered against klitscko reminded me of the black bottle with Pryor and Alexis arguello.

Lastly how he is managed as the A side wants more money than every other fighter. Spoils the sport for me.

Of course I could be wrong and by the way I'm not saying he's not a good fighter.

AJ? Other way around possibly. I think wilder knows Fury beats him second time around and then he’s lost his big payday at Wembley

No , personally I would rather Fury or Wilder beat AJ

guess I'm a hater,  I even bought the PPV in the hope povetkin would bash him.....

    I'm still waiting
