  1. Yep as others have said it really is like "I'm fed up, I hate everyone above me and I'm saying whatever I like because you lot can't actually afford the money to fire me!"
  2. Very true - the children all have their tetanus boosters now from last year's Grotto experience so no reason it shouldn't be absolutely crammed this year!
  3. They'd have to get moving fast - their cars will be on bricks within 5 minutes!
  4. Forgot to mention someone on there was blaming agents, trying to say Clarke's agent was making him say it to be attractive to other clubs... Because slating your employer is really what other employers look for! Their conspiracy theories get more and more outlandish, like being convinced the Merchant Venturers means SL can do what he wants in Bristol. No it's called actually having money, and goodwill from the city for actually spending it to improve the lives of its citizens...
  5. Think almost all of their forum have now realised when their manager is saying "I'm only staying for the fans", that they've got a bottom 6 budget for salaries and that nothing is happening, there's serious problems. Almost like he's begging to be fired: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42184357 Altho some on that forum still saying: * "Should be discussed in private" (not realising if Hani is barely talking to Wael and Hamer there's no way he's taking to Clarke so this is his only way to get his attention) * "Living within our means is good" (you're losing 2m a year) * They've built the club up behind the scenes (yes to make it more attractive to sell, and all financed by the equity in the Mem) Even with reality kicking them in the face delivered by their very own messiah, some are still deluded...
  6. Based on the value we calculated earlier I say offer £690 again but in Bodin's case we'll throw in a new gazebo...
  7. Not sure I saw the article about the Hamer interview initially: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42110933 I particularly love this quote which I'd not heard from it: "Everybody is frustrated. It's a bit like taking over a building that's been derelict for a long time," Hamer said.
  8. I can pick only 2?! I can't figure out how to judge the worst. Think Sinclair would make an excellent Cinderella though - it's all about the life experience...
  9. They're complaining about lack of experience in their squad, but if you tot up the ages they're like 5 times as old as the rest of the League: https://www.bristolrovers.co.uk/teams/first-team/ Some doing pretty well for 116! Plus they've apparently cloned Lewis Ellington so they've got one in midfield and one striker. With technology like that, if they only had a decent player to clone they actually would be coming for us...
  10. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/kenan-dunnwald-turan/profil/spieler/238564 Judging by the 23k valuation and MT's transfer I suggest we offer £690...
  11. My favourite bits are how your investment is protected in the UK (hello to the Mem being sold for housing) and that they were looking for a club that had hit rock bottom - the only way was up. He really should research the Gas and our leagues better - clearly never heard of the Conference!
  12. The police have my utmost respect Always there, in those situations where no one else would want to be... I'm guessing they at least gave you all balaclavas in Blackburn so you weren't identified? Otherwise I imagine the embarrassment of being associated with the Blue Few must be grounds for suing your employer for emotional harm!
  13. According to Swissgas calculations based on Hamer's £12m put in so far, they're losing £2m a year. Plus either the Mem is actually charged for £12m now or they've got £2m against the Colony too - unless they're happy that the loan to DS to buy the Colony can act as collateral against itself. Really not looking good for them with an investment banker with no interest in football holding the purse strings. He'll either want his money back (as losses every year without any increase in value are just eating into their profit and security) by selling the secured assets or to sell them and make his money back or a profit, which is very unlikely...
  14. Think some of you have pointed out Henbury before - by any chance is he one of the bald guys in this video? Wouldn't put it past him being deluded enough to sing about us needing cheering up when they lost and we won...
  15. The only way the "famous quarters" are being worn in the Premiership is if Chelsea and the Gas swap kits when Abramovich loses a poker game with Wally... Unlikely given he seems to be the AQ family's idiot, so much that they've mortgaged a My Little Football Club to keep him busy!
  16. Funny in that thread they reported us going 2 nil down. But then didn't report any of our goals
  17. They should be made to play Friday night instead, as we've moved the other ones. Although maybe they can't afford replacement bulbs and electricity...
  18. Now you've confirmed there really is a City fan on there they'll be going for a "BURN THE WITCH!" hunt again
  19. Yeah but on the off chance someone actually invested money in them and they went ahead of us in the next decade or two, we all know any Gasheads we're related to or have to work with will be unbearable! Can't risk it , bust solves the issue once and for all!
  20. I do credit some of their supporters for their humour in the face of what's going on in their club, and I know a few Gasheads and get on well with them (except in their delusional phases!). However the club itself and its more delusional fans I can't stand and can't wait to see them go pop - the only thing I'll miss is the sheer comedy they bring from their continued saga. I wasn't alive in 82 but being brought up in a Red family with their memories of Gashead behaviour during that time and the hatred it inspired me to carry on the flame!
  21. Waiting for his City contact to give him his bonus for a job bloody well done!
  22. They're now advertising on their Twitter feed (not in a sponsored way like most teams do, but actually using their feed like the Trade It!):
  23. Completely agree, absolutely baffling. Just reminded me I need to go to IKEA this weekend...
  24. Think the other Sheffield will be the much harder game, but always wary of Wednesday too. Fingers crossed we'll get the result. Come on you Reds!
