  1. Out of interest, do we utilise Graham Bird with him being based in Bristol?
  2. Yeah, same for me. Very bleak listen. Don’t get me wrong it’s been far from great this season but we’ve got through it and finished pretty much where we thought we would. There have been some real positives, especially with the young talent being given an opportunity. Real disappointing end this one.
  3. Not necessarily. Things change. I don’t imagine Man City will be back in for Kane this year.
  4. Don’t believe there is anything to see here. Players form drops off, doesn’t make squad.
  5. Listened to it this morning. I find Ian fascinating. He gave it spuds about business, Neil then embarrassed him with some basic figures before an agitated Ian then bit back at Mark. Fair play if he’s successful in business - I have though worked for a couple of one track bullies which sound all to similar to IG. The ego on the bloke that he actually believes Richard Gould would reveal player salaries. Classic Brent.
  6. If we’d of lost you be moaning that we didn’t beat a team on the beach. It’s embarrassing that a number of fans are unable to offer praise when it’s due to Pearson and the players.
  7. For all the stick Lampard is getting, he’s actually got a better win ratio at Everton than Gerrard has at Villa. Gerrard also has a better squad.
  8. Was Cisse consistently that good? Players often go up a notch in reputation when they retire. Cisse played 60 ish games in near 3 seasons here. I can’t remember him being anything more than decent.
  9. I actually don’t think the fans have got on his back, if anything he’s been given an extended stay of execution. The fact that he was a “England international” bought him time, then he was slowly utilised and then PR wise he came across with good stock. We’ve really wanted him to exceed almost as if he’s one of our own. Unfortunately, he is nowhere near good enough as proved in failing to play in a league boy to dissimilar from Brislington.
  10. No mention of Josh Owers for the whole show. Perhaps Ian has sold his shares in him.
  11. Took Tony Thorpe and Steve Jones time to get on the goal trail. Still time.
  12. Out of interest, which young upcoming manager would you replace him with that wouldn’t cost us fee and would be happy to paid in fresh air?
  13. Good to read especially from someone who was there - you’d think that we’d been relegated today the way the usual suspects have gone on.
  14. Whilst disappointing, at the beginning of the season the majority of us realists wanted to stay in the division and didn’t expect much else. We’ve done that. The football has been far from ideal but there are numbers of reasons for the inconsistency’s. Another window beckons, this coming season would’ve been where I’d like to of seen proper progress. Unfortunately our precarious financial position makes this once again a very difficult season up ahead. Pearson is working with his hands tied behind his back. Would’ve been great to of seen what could have been done with him in charge a couple of years ago with the unlimited funds others have wasted.
  15. They are a far better side than we are. Expectations were low before the game because of this. I wouldn’t expect us to have a great deal of possession. Did you?
  16. Poor goal to concede. Will do very well to get anything from this.
