Huge concern for me is the midfield, not just the defence. Going to have to play HNM/AS pretty much every game with JW every now and again with Benarous as backup. As @Davefevs said in another thread, you many have to play Weimann in the middle of the park, but that takes away from the threat upfront. It's a huge amount of pressure on the young lads, and if JW goes bang again we are in trouble. EDIT : I wonder if NP would swallow his pride and recall Bakinson?

Surely we have to try something different. I would go for 4 3 3 Max/Bents RB? TK TK CP JW HNS AS AW CM AS Only problem with that is we have no cover in midfield really, and JW cant play every game. We also risk burning out HMN and AS.

Its an interesting one the Kalas situation. He was poor as a captain, and i dont think he leads the defence well at all, which is something you would expect from a senior player on his wage. I wouldnt have said this earlier this season, but i wouldnt be too upset if he was moved on. Kalas is better individually than as part of the collective defence.

Its seems to be self fulfilling now, combined with the fact other teams know we buckle at the end. Not sure how to get out of that, other than mental conditioning. I myself cannot watch the final 10 mins of so anymore. Those of us that sit in the Dolman that get stick for leaving early have been proven to be correct !

I think he was just pointing out you were very quick and happy to point out after pretty much every same where Antonine didn’t score he wasn’t a striker. Then you would type ”I was right”. Ditto what everybody has said in regard to the young players, but major shoutout to Andy Weimann. An incredible engine, and has been just brilliant for us this year. Player of the season

I always felt with Antoine it would just click, and it certainly has recently. Having Weimann buzzing around him, and the experience of CM has really helped him Lets hope we keep him for at least a full season next year and he rips it up. #dontselltheyounguns
