Is Semenyo the answer though? 5 in 70 isn’t the best of returns.
I did say hopefully ...

Just to add with the above, i.e. I'd line up akin to:
Bentley
Kalas, Webster, Atkinson, DaSilva,
Massengo, Williams, Brownhill,
Kodjia, Reid, Bryan.
4-4-1-1/4-2-3-1.
Joe Bryan in a front 3??
Id have Brownhill, Brownhill, Brownhill, Brownhill and Brownhill right now

Think we’ll be a different proposition with Baker, Williams and Semenyo available.
Williams is the key for me. Gotta find a way to keep him fit. Baker is Mr reliable and Semenyo (hopefully) a bit of a secret weapon

What savage irony when in spite of this we look like going down and will most likely be passed by Ashton and Ipswich going up.
What? We are 10 points clear of the relegation zone, and Ipswich are 9th in League 1. Stop with the sensationalist headlines

I dont reckon we will be in a serious relegation fight. The bottom 3 + Cardiff and P'boro look worse than us. Derby + Barnsley look like they are down already. I agree its piss poor right now, and last night was a real low point, but all the foreboding of doom isn't healthy. I doubt Pearson is going anywhere, and fantasies about expensive new signings in January are just wet dreams. Just knuckle down for a scrappy few winter months, and hope NP finds a formula that starts to work.

That was shocking ffs

i’m happy to constantly review, tweak my view from what I see. I’m happy enough at the mo’….although the season started with low expectations and a slow burner to improvement, so we are in a good place at the mo’ from my perspective.
Id much rather that, than start of with a bang and then fade away after Christmas, as has been the case the last few seasons. You want momentum at the business end. If the team is finding its feet now, with as you say a slow improvement then im happy with that. Its all about consolidation this year

I know Jos is taking the plaudits and rightly so, but Morgan is captaining the side brilliantly. Bowling changes absolutely spot on, and you can see they are playing for him. Looks a bit rusty with the bat, but doing a great job as skipper.

So the toilet block is done then. When are they building the rest?
More to the point - why would you build something brand new, then immediately after construction decide it was too small and start to extend it? FFS - great bit of design there. Could be a new Kevin McCloud programme on C4 - w@nkdesigns

How many people does the venue hold for a game? Anyone know?

I don’t like that expression (snowflake Fevs)….someone agreed to pay it.
I get that Dave. It’s a contract you are right but doesn’t the player feel a little embarrassed ? Particularly when a youth player on 800 quid a week is picked ahead of him.
Steal a living is harsh yes - but there are plenty of very rich players just training at various clubs and not playing. Waste of their careers and money going out of the game

He’s costing us best part of £2m a year in wages and amortisation. Eeeeeeeeek
If you want a headline to demonstrate how much we have spunked away in the last few years that will do it. Absolutely shocking. Players on our books stealing a living basically

Sometimes a win just relieves pressure. I fancy us to get a result against Brum.

Said it before and I’ll say it again: He may well show skills / play keepy uppy like a boss and for sure he has the ability to slot in a killer pass BUT he doesn’t put a shift in. Work rate nowhere near high enough for the modern game.
Why does anyone think he will be bought in January? Who will buy him and for how much? Considering how much he cost / his wages we would be better off all round letting him go for nothing.

This pitch in Sharjah looks shite. Resembles a bowling lane, not a cricket pitch.

Last 10 overs 116 runs. Buttler is a machine

Big test / chance for Eddie. Think it’s a good fit for him.
Big step up for him, and also do Tottenham have the patience?
