I only manage to get to a handful of games a season, guaranteed someone sat next to me will be moaning about Tanner’s lack of forward passing when I do go, Saturday was no exception. Never understood it, he’s always been a solid and reliable performer. In fact I took my brother in law with me who’s an Arsenal fan and he was full of praise for GT.

Who would you say is the greatest Bristolian to play for City
Jazzy replied to gavlin's topic in Football Chat
Lloyd Kelly, maybe it’s down to his relatively short stint with us but he’s played at a higher level than most of the centre backs already mentioned -
Steve Bruce once got 19 in a season for United, no idea if he took pens though.

Youth pathway is crumbling to the ground despite academy graduates playing 30% of all available minutes this season, which is happens to be the joint highest in the Championship

Kane Wilson to Derby - Confirmed

Daft that fans just expect players to be played without knowing how said player has performed in training all week. -
Gary O’Neil sacked by Bournemouth
Jazzy replied to Super's topic in All Things Ex Players and Managers
Slightly off topic but one of the oddest City related moments I’ve witnessed was seeing Gary O’Neil hobble around the London Underground on his own only a couple of hours after we lost 2-0 to Brentford. -
Hall of Fame class of 2022/23 - the next inductee is...
Jazzy replied to shahanshahan's topic in Football Chat
I'll wait till either one of us reaches the quarters of a champions league final before passing judgement on others. -
Slightly off on a tangent but can you have a wand of a right foot or is this phrase specifically reserved for the left?

Why is it every time women are discussed in footballing terms there's always a man who appears quicker than a flash to demean and underplay their achievements, why can't you just be happy for them and what they've achieved rather than downplaying it is as completely insignificant and worthless.- 96 replies

Why can't they sit together? I don't have an ST so only get to the gate a handful of times a season (Probably for the best I've only been to the Sunderland and Lincoln games this season!) but when I buy my tickets there's plenty of areas in the ground that have 7-8 even whole rows of seats available together.

I assume you are referring to the incident where he was cleared of any wrongdoing and had about 45 people present who could confirm he was acting in self defence!

? Phew, clearly I’m not great at reading sarcasm on an Internet forum!

Of course they can but I read one comment saying our season was over already! It would be an overreaction even if it was confirmed that he was out for the season, to say it without even knowing the extent of his injury is absurd in the extreme

Kept us in the division by giving youth a chance and slashing the wage bill. Still could always go back to McInnes/SOD who did a wonderful job with the same remit.

Obscene ? it’s him and his fiancé celebrating their engagement

Deeney did something terrible, did his time and has clearly grown as a person since then. Barton on the other hand has got himself in trouble time and time again and was recently back in court for assaulting another manager the two aren’t really comparable
