I want his teammates to work harder FOR him, make better options / angles for him. Make him look better.
I agree, when receiving the ball you should have a minimum of 2 options, one from the passer who creates an angle for him to receive it back and one you can pass to and support. The harder you work the easier it becomes.

I agree he isn't great from an attacking perspective but he is definitely a Championship quality defender
I agree. Didn't naismith in commentary say that he is one of the best 1 on 1 defensive players in the championship. What frustrates me, is when he gets the ball, moves 10 yards with it, stops and then passes it back. I'm all for keeping possession but it slows all impetus down.

Williams 6 and Bell 6?? Williams by far one of our better players imho

Pace I agree is deceptive, football is all about the first 5 yards and I don't necessarily think he's got that.

I don't get where people think he's fast, at times today, his tracking back looked like he was running in quick sand.

If sam bell comes out second half I will be gobsmacked, does nothing going forward and can't defend.

Defending starts from the front, it's not just the defence it's a team thing

Still baffling how it didn’t work out for him with us.
Someone I knew, was originally at rovers and ended up at Hallen. City played Hallen in a friendly not long ago and I asked him, who was the best player he ever came up against and he said Sammy szmodics.

Is it just me? This footage smacks of everyone appearing to be very happy and smiling/joking, https://www.bcfc.co.uk/video/features/robins-uncut-liam-mannings-first-training-session/
With the obvious exception of Tommy.
I concur, he didn't look happy at all

It’s a great watch. 2 teams getting stuck right in.
Just like the good old days

I wonder what would happen, if we tore the rule book up and played naturally, no patterns of play, no following heat maps, just went out played like they were kids and went for it. You score 4 we'll score 5

To a man, absolutely brilliant.

For me, the first attack they had, showed what they had more than us. We don't seem to have anyone that can go past someone and drag people out of position.

Couldn’t disagree more about Dickie. Thought he was excellent in the first half.
He was ok Saturday but quality last night.

Is Haydon Roberts the forgotten man!
Not for me, saw him at Cheltenham and is a very very good player.

When he's on it he's on it. Very composed on the ball, great range of passing and always makes himself available. My mom last night by a mile.

Remembered mostly for playing for the rovers but a city fan.

The most exhilarating experience I have ever had in my life, especially after all we were hearing around the ground was, when will you ever beat the Gas, when will you ever beat the Gas.

What are your top 5 Away goals which you have seen live at the ground i.e. not on tv/robins TV etc
Just your own favourite goals, based on your elation at the time, could be the technique, the occasion or both.
In no particular order:
Player, v Team, Year:
1. Tomlin v Fulham, 2016
2. Noble v Palace, 2008
3. Jacky v Leicester, 1992
4. Tinnion v Liverpool, 1994
5. Brownhill, V Cardiff, 2019

Great result and endeavor but for the board to think we have a top 6 side, really? Sunderland are 7th having lost 9 times and we are waxing lyrical about their team. I was thinking that they looked better all over the park than we did yesterday. Good result though, onwards and upwards.
