  1. Please don’t have your best players on the bench until you are losing. I can’t speak for others but when I come to watch , I expect the best team to start.
  2. Twine was on the bench mid week with Burnley- so is match fit.
  3. Training session for next few days - passing to your own team, target shooting, scoring. We will be fine then!
  4. Opta-Simulated Championship 2024-25 Table After simulating the Championship 2024-25 season 10,000 times, we’re able to average the points total of every club across those simulations and therefore rank teams positionally. Here’s the Opta supercomputer results from those simulations: 1st: Leeds United – 81.6 average points 2nd: Middlesbrough – 73.9 3rd: Burnley – 71.4 4th: West Bromwich Albion – 71.1 5th: Luton Town – 70.9 6th: Norwich City – 69.9 7th: Coventry City – 67.4 8th: Hull City – 66.4 9th: Sheffield United – 65.3 10th: Bristol City – 63.9 11th: Swansea City – 62.6 12th: Sheffield Wednesday – 61.6 13th: Stoke City – 60.6 14th: Millwall – 59.8 15th: Watford – 59.6 16th: Blackburn Rovers – 59.1 17th: Portsmouth – 58.6 18th: Preston North End – 58.2 19th: Derby County – 58.1 20th: Queens Park Rangers – 57.5 21st: Sunderland – 56.2 22nd: Oxford United – 55.5 23rd: Plymouth Argyle – 53.7 24th: Cardiff City – 50.6
  5. Didn’t they beat Sunderland 5-1 two weeks ago?
  6. Plymouth could be the leading SW team if we are not careful. Good attacking players. Whittaker 17 goals -leading scorer in championship.
  7. St Albans - how to see a match out - bodies on the line! Hope City players watched!
  8. Back to the High Performance Centre to try again
  9. Having watched the last 3 matches, I am certainly thinking now the team whatever formation are likely to be heading for relegation. As the Sunday papers say, the defence is woeful and attack non existent. The league position as last year is starting to drop towards the bottom but a lot earlier. A team that cannot win at home for nearly a year are unlikely to secure their place in the Championship. I think we are the only team in the championship, league 1 and league 2 not to have won at home. I hope I am wrong with my prediction but having watched the team for 63 years , it’s not looking very hopeful.
  10. Oh well back to the High Performance Centre for some more High Performance Training. Who is the next lucky team on course for 3 points at the Gate!
  11. Started the mid season run of 11 matches without a win a few weeks earlier than usual
