  1. Boring, was probably the main adjective that hit home to me too from my evening out ...thats not good ..
  2. I don't think he's too bad an appointment, did a decent job at Fleetwood and worth another chance by someone somewhere, looking at their fixtures they may well just slip through the door but won't be his fault, need to let him get on with a project of rebuilding them.
  3. Agreed will probably wait until it's all back to normal, happy to take City TV till then ..not an issue if necessary..
  4. Premier league footballers will be the most pampered and protected 'workers' around...I bet my local supermarket girl wished she had that much protection and that level of immediate testing.. I actually dont really think football should start yet, as it doesn't sit well with me ..but this type of whinging holds no substance I'm afraid.
  5. No I agree, just looking at the basic concept of what could happen, most clubs have their own live feed plus some form of emergency TV / Sky contract for a season, with multi access, I think it could be a nice earner for TV, offering lots of options for fans, while clubs could claw back some revenue ....forget this season it's too messy and too soon and not important with all that's going on... leave the table as it is, promote top two etc but no relegation and concentrate on a proper no fans plan for next season whenever that is..
  6. I think 20/21 season tickets will be transferred over into paying for subscriptions for City World or similar as the whole season goes on internet / TV only (or until there is a cure)
  7. Current season dissolved in June for me, as we just run out of time to complete I've more a less given up the thought of going to football until next year now, whether that be through choice or out of necessity.
  8. Really disappointed, had them on the rack twice and couldn't finish them off, I know thsts unreal figures from Abbott but the batting is poor. I think we've blown it, the weather forcast looks pretty poor for next week I think it will just end in damp squib draw....
  9. Colin Daniel gave me one of the funniest moments I've had in recent years....love to see us play against him down the Gate for a proper reception and acclaim
  10. On way back on the train... Complete robbery, Hull werent brilliant but they worked very hard and had the game in the bag, City never put together anything of note (Woodrow dreadful Bobby well off colour) or a shot until about the 65th minute then two pieces of quality delivery allowed Flint to head home close In and Reid to tap in a scramble, with Hull now confidence shot, Brownhill cracked home a screamer..worst away display I've seen though the subs Paterson, Djoric (who just stood there and flicked things on ) and Eliasson changed it, (Pack about to be sent off and odowda crocked) fair play great spirit and determination to keep on going, but definitely not at the races today...great result ...
  11. I actually thought this was some sort of a joke, how embarrassing printing this... Can't stop laughing at it.
  12. Soo disappointing in that display, biggest crowd in yonks, on a good run, more or less unchanged side, against a poor opponent, even if we had still lost I expected soo much more than that.. A real let down.
  13. Fair result, we survived several close shaves 2nd half but bar a 10 min spell around the equaliser offered too little, all too laboured at times too many misplaced passes, too conservative against a basic opposition, losing Magnasson left us short at the back late on which Ipswich exploited, half time switch to wing backs showed promise and Brownhill played well I thought, most put a shift in to be fair but the quality just wasn't there I'm afraid. Fielding - some good saves especially near post Little - as usual tried his best but just not champ standard Goldbourne - sloppy 1st half looked rusty Magnasson - committed solid, looked like a 'out for a few weeks' injury Flint - good did what he had to Brownhill - thought he showed some good touches, good energy lost way as game went on Pack - too laboured at times kept going sideways. Freeman - worked hard but no killer pass, too insipid Tomlin - wasted out wide, one brilliant run looked better in centre but in truth generally ineffective. Wilbraham - worked hard but he shouldn't be playing, no real threat Abraham - looked sharp but lacked that final bit of quality at time Subs - Bryan one great run but way too conservative after that, Moore capable, odowda again too conservative. Good turnout of City for a long trip
