  1. 40 quid. Reality is they’ve actually done us all and figured it out… fixed the problem of having no stock by offering stuff no one wants ?
  2. Lack of effort here is embarrassing… just shoved a badge on a tracksuit .. nothing interesting about it ?
  3. Their sponsor fits better but you get the idea.. also welcome to Bristol City whoever that is
  4. 3rd kit entry from Castore for Charlton.. saw this and thought this design would be perfect for a City away kit.. wonder what we will get from Oneills.. imagine they’re scrambling to get this one right !
  5. Surely a joke for the launch video… so surprised that the club can’t see how poor this all is ..
  6. Hey guys been a while… so long that the collar on our shirt has grown. jokes aside is this a real photo ???
  7. Proof you can go retro but still have a new take on things with the patterns. Not that difficult is it. Simple, effective, something new and red
  8. I feel that the issue is the club/JL care more about social media posts/campaigns than actually thinking of the core fan base... being outward facing is essential don't get me wrong and you need to think like this to build a brand.. but if you forget about the core fan base that bubble will pop. Started with the crazy GK kits from a few years back for me... got a load of hits on socials and JL's eyes lit up! Since then a lot of designs have been a bit mad... hoping for some social media engagement and therefor getting more sales... the only thing holding these ideas up was Hummel being able to use the weird ideas and create something decent out of them... BUT... now we are with a supplier that seems to struggle to make simple football kits look like football kits.. that bubble is popping. Charton's home kit is one of the nicest about and here they are also showing that there is nothing wrong with having a simple training kit that makes them look like charlton... mad isn't it
  9. I agree and this shines a light on Hummel (Elite Sports Group really) and how they have messed up not just with us.. but on O’Neills .. they were with Wycombe for years and their kits looked naff from the beginning to the end of their partnership
  10. Personally I feel like ultimately we will only probably have an O’Neills deal for 2/3 years like most other brands we’ve been with… so even though I have my opinion on how poor everything looks (and it does.. we look like amateurs and everyone can see it) … it will be over soon I am a bit baffled tho by the fact we had a new bespoke badge designed for us like 2/3 years ago and now we’re using this splat robin.. and haven’t been told why at all. ?
  11. Children’s sport section at Primark ? that is the worst thing yet in my opinion. Wow ?? Splat is taking over and nobody was asked first ?
  12. Wanted to check if it was just me who thought this commentator was doing my head in haha!... Greens going now boys! back on top ?
  13. Loved most of the stuff I've seen from Umbro for 23/34... and they were with the Bears... missed opportunity
  14. Was gunna post this hahah! My team too. Not going well is it!
  15. It's not necessarily the design though.. it's not actually the design on the home that I dislike and feel that this design manufactured by Hummel/Adidas/Puma/Nike/Castore etc would have been executed effectively. (Though I am bored of every single kit we seem to make being a 'nod to the past'.. loved it when it happened the first couple times but would love to see something new now). Look at the way the fabric around the neck groups as it is stitched, how the rest of the fabric sits on the body and the way that the badge is nearly under the armpit its so far left. It's hard to put my finger on it but the kits don't fit like every other manufacturer out there. In person at games it just looks wrong. (When I have my glasses on at least! haha)
  16. All good points .. and hear what you’re saying. After going into our megastore and looking at the products I personally feel they have a way to go when designing kits for football teams. I can’t be the only one here that just think they don’t look right? Maybe this is just all of us being snobby but personally I feel that everything they have created for us so far has been naff and doesn’t look like what a football team should be wearing. I always thought this about Wycombe when they wore it and it never improved over there. Really and truly if we go up no one will care in the slightest and all of this isn’t that big a deal… but as football and City means so much to so many people.. I don’t think it’s unfair to want the club to to look like a proper football team for 1 and 2nd for the club to offer products to their supporters that they want to buy to represent their team.
  17. “Oi Dave.. remember Splat the Robin .. those were the days” ?
