  1. I thought he put up no fight for the first, allowing Deeney to easily play the ball out to the eventual goalscorer. The third he was nowhere near the goalscorer, he was beaten on a number of crosses, two of which should have been put away. If he wasn't an academy player he'd be regarded the same as Taylor Moore. If we continue to play imo at best L1 players we'll find ourselves there. He costs you goals at this level, and it's often in the build up.
  2. Let's hope he's finally seen enough of Vyner.
  3. And ask Leicester fans if we want to do extremes.
  4. There's a constant problem at the club way before and probably will be way after NP arrived and leaves.
  5. An absolute mess which he allowed to happen. New investment would be very welcome now, beyond stale.
  6. We knocked it into the corners for him twice and he was flat footed and staring the ball passing him. Again, not on him. It's on the manager. He shouldn't be asked to the job he was asked to at such an important time.
  7. Sorry, should state I'm not having a pop at COD for this. It wasn't his mental idea to make this tactical blunder. See above.
  8. No. Course not FFS. A knackered Wells was so much more useful as a focal point than COD. Could see the equaliser coming a mile off once that happened. Ball just kept coming back. EDIT - because this is going over some heads. I don't believe COD made the tactical decision, so I don't blame him for the stupidity.
  9. What have I done to deserve watching Chris Martin every match?!
  10. I'm not sure there are many parallels between in the last 3 years World Cup semi finalists, Nations League semi finalists and Euros runners up and the nonsense representing this club each week tbh.
  11. Who gives a ****?! Got plenty of problems here to laugh at those idiots.
  12. Mods, can you arrange to have this moved over to the Sunderland fans forum? Or create a separate LJ forum, please, so those of us in 2021 can't see it listed?
  13. Very much so. It's not like he's never had a good run before when he's had injuries. I would expect him to lose in the play offs (it is Sunderland after all), lose some players, sign some players, struggle to know what he wants to do and history repeats itself. Ultimately I'm not fussed either way, that's just my prediction, he's gone thankfully. One thing I know is that looking at how our players can barely execute the most basic of football skills during a match day these days (and it's been getting progressively worse over the last few years to this point) I am delighted we will never have him, Holden and Macca "coaching" anyone at this football club again. Sunderland can go up or stay down, we should feel lucky he's not our problem anymore.
  14. Will he be the first manager in history to go down twice within the space of 5 weeks?
  15. He'd probably need a whole new personality too. I liked him as a player, thought he received a massive amount of necessary stick. As a manager though, Jesus... I'm still 100% sure we will be the only Championship club e ever manages and that was down to nepotism, again. If he fails to take Sunderland up all his guff in the world won't be able to answer in any future interview "How have you managed for 8 years and never earned a promotion?". At some stage his CV will be louder than his PowerPoint and David Brent squeaks.
  16. Hardly a surprise that Sunderland fans are already realising that LJ is an absolute fraud tbf. They've seen enough of them to spot one.
