  1. Nope, believe me it was tedious at the ground also, turgid, total lack of quality. If it wasn’t so tense, with a lurking feeling of certain doom about to happen any moment, half the ground would have been napping.
  2. Sorry, I couldn't resist that - just wondering how long it would take a get a response from the 'the sun shines out of Nigel's arse' fan club on here. Not positioning you in any way on the subject, but answer - 11 mins! Clearly quiet time because I was expecting seconds. Seriously though, clearly its better performances and something to get excited about that will create more noise and atmosphere and more noise and atmosphere will probably help in turn with improving performances, and so on. From where I am though, I think we do pretty well at AG in the circuimstances to keep things buzzing - much better than a lot of other grounds I've been to for sure. When home performances pick up (as I'm sure they will with mr sunshine at the helm!), so too will atmosphere and even those who sit right next to the away end and wonder why they can hear them singing might be able to catch a few City songs.
  3. Nothing wrong with the atmosphere at the start of games in the South Stand. After Nige has bored us all senseless again with turgid football and an almost compete lack of goal threat for an hour, however, it does tend to tail off quite a bit, but its usually the case that desperation for points as we get to the latter stages is a strong motivator and the volume gets cranked up again.
  4. We can only dream about having Lee Johnson back at this point. At least we did occasionally win games then. Even Holden was better than this
  5. I care. I don’t give two whatever’s about this cup, but we need a win.this is worse than embarrassing, it’s getting dire
  6. The critical factor we bought Pearson in to sort out is character. He has himself given it the big I am on strength of character and our transfers have been about bringing characters into the team. And yet 7 months in and we still fail on … guess what? Character! I know there were massive issues to sort out and it will take longer than 7 months for us to play great football. But after what was supposed to be a critical summer and pre-season, we totally bottled it yet again - lumping the ball long, not being brave to find space and retain possession, not taking individual responsibility for winning those battles. It was a massive fail whichever way you look at it and I suspect Pearson will be more disappointed than anyone. It’s the most fundamental thing he has to get right and the very first requirement. He’s got time to sort it but he’s got to get it done because the team doesn’t have any longer to break this shite cycle we’re in.
  7. Overnight? He’s been in charge since Feb - 7 months and we are still have no backbone. How long are you suggesting he needs. Good pre season and all was supposed to be different.
