    I was there. I reckon that's the tightest squeeze I've ever been in. I remember getting just a tad worried and tried to move as it was getting tighter and tighter but just couldn't get out of the crush. Eventually it sorted itself out a bit. And yes the Tom Ritchie moment - absolute farce. We deserved to win.

    As I posted previously without a doubt my favourite game in my football life. That Martyn Hirst goal and the mass outpouring of human joyous emotion that followed on that packed terrace was unforgettable. I was hugging and being hugged by complete strangers. Brilliant. I was at the 68 cup game Slarti but I was only 9 then so can't remember much. Was that the game where the goalposts were painted red?

    **** them, they tried to steal Ashton Gate from us in ‘82, & they were the only sporting organisation in the area that wouldn’t support the city having a venue if we got the World Cup.

    Not only do I never want them to play us again, I hope they fold.

    Absolutely fantastic post. Youngsters take note of the bit in bold. Think how you would feel if they tried to do that now. They really did try to take it from us. Scumbags. Always.

    I think it's all about the fact that the government know hospitals don't have enough beds or staff to take over a certain amount of patients. Winter is here and the NHS is at bursting point.
