  1. Hard to say it but I’m almost at the point that I hope we lose matches so the inevitable conclusion (Tinnion getting sacked) is expedited. No big problem with Manning- feel sorry for him tbh. Haven’t felt that way since the latter stages of when Holden was manger or before that Tinnion. Knew the 7-1 v Swansea would finish him so the cloud had a silver lining.
  2. Agree- I don’t expect promotion. Just a team and club that I can connect with. Had that under Nige and his staff. Def don’t now.
  3. Results are in for back or sack Tinnion… 99.99999999% sack 0.000000001% back
  4. It’s a circus. No question in my mind that we have moved from an upward trajectory (albeit gradual) to a downward one. Just a question of how fast and how long. As others have said, it’s heartbreaking to see.
  5. Yeah exactly- much more sensible approach.
  6. Agree re Pring. I was at the QPR game in the Lansdown and Sykes (right in front of us on the right) was a million miles off being ready- a shadow of himself. God help us if it Binman making the calls on player fitness. No logical reason for no Twine introduction v QPR other than him being on the bench for ‘appearances’. Then when questioned in the aftermath he disappeared from the squad v Shef Wednesday.
  7. Bit of a conspiracy theory maybe- but was Twine on the bench v QPR to try to save face after the criticisms aimed at Pearson/Rennie re player availability? Also were Pring and Sykes pushed back into the starting line up despite not being ready for the same reason? Who is making the calls on player fitness? Can’t remember many times under Nige/Rennie when a player was brought back in whilst so obviously not ready. Absolute shambles.
  8. Kevin Nugent was always unpopular. Remember him getting booed every time they ran through the teams on the tannoy. Tbf he was slow - made my Nan look quick.
  9. 'Looking forward to working with Brian Tinnion - I've heard that he knows how to set up a team well defensively from his own experience of managing'
  10. Has to be a big character who is worthy of respect. Otherwise who is the figurehead? Tinnion - no thanks. Lansdown - must be joking. Now Nige isn't about, there'll be no-one worthy of respect at the top of the club if they go for another yes man (which is probably what they'll do of course).
  11. 'Tinman is a snake' to the tune of 'baby give it up'
  12. Great press conference- loved the detail on the injuries- showed how much rubbish that snake Tinnion was talking. It’s such an unnecessary act of self sabotage to get rid of Nige. It is so obvious that we were tracking in the right direction. The club is a shambles- piss off Lansdowns ffs.
  13. Want- Louis Van Gaal Think- Louie Spence
  14. Brilliant post- sums up my feeling exactly- especially the last sentence.
  15. Guess it’s obvious now that it was Tinnion questioning Nige’s selection of Andy King at CB. The audacity of it. Could’ve done with King at CB vs Swansea all those years ago- might not have got done 7-1. Not sure I’ve got the stomach to pay to watch Tinnion inevitably piss away Nige’s hard work in the coming months.
  16. I’d honestly expect better comms and decision-making from a couple of old women organising a jumble sale. A championship football club with millions of turnover and this is the best they can do ffs. Unbelievable.
  17. The situation all makes makes sense now with hindsight - Tinnion power grab. As others have said, lets hope that he turns out to be a better Technical Director than he was a Manager - surely couldn't be worse. At least Swansea Away has already been played this season. Really shocked at just how amateurishly the whole situation has been handled and my expectations were already low. Gutted to have lost Nige and emailed his agent Dean Eldredge to pass on my thanks for making me feel connected with the team again over the past couple of years. It is embarrassing how he has been treated by the club.
  18. Brummies and city don’t seem to be a good mix - Mark Ashton, SOD, now Kane Wilson.
  19. Looks so much more athletic and lean than he used to. Another one that Pearson has helped to transform.
  20. I don’t mind Ian. The podcast often has great unintended comedy value. Find it hilarious at times!
  21. Darren Barnard- used to get excited when we had a free kick edge of the box with him in the team.
  22. I actually thought Millwall showed some more honour than most teams leading at AG. No time wasting or shithousery. Substitutes went off from near the touch line and throws taken fairly quickly. Think they were the same last year as well. Had the look of a hard team- prob fancy them in a tunnel dust up against most!
  23. Hopefully PNE’s unblemished defensive record will still be in tact by the time we play them on 10 September so Conway, Semenyo et al can smash it to pieces.
