The West Brom performance. Correct players in solid formation, well drilled, organised and motivated. Easily a mid table side right there. Without Kalas, Baker, Scott, Semenyo and Williams also. Should be in amongst the middle 8 teams not the bottom 8. Not expecting miracles but mid table should have been achievable. Just my opinion. Therefore not a disaster but underachieving with the squad available, again just my opinion and fully respect that others will have a different one.

Yes agreed but think he could have been used as cover for the James/Williams injury issues allowing Scott to play RWB. Just think in a small limited squad like ours you need a "Rowe type" or two around, relatively cheap team player. During these next 2 rebuilding years anyway.

In hindsight we could have done with Rowe this season. But he wasn't to know that.

Unless NP has mad an error with Tanner and wants rid then no chance we will be signing a similar lower league player to cover the same positions. Not any more complicated than that really.

I thought, as with several this season he started well and spiralled downwards from there. very poor last 20 minutes.

My worry would be if he spoke to the players in a similar dismissive manner. I do believe however that this is more of a "pantomime villain" show for the press. Still not a good look though.

His injury destroyed any hope Holden had of being a success here. Not saying Holden should still be our manager but he was basically finished when Weimann was injured. Safe to say we would be in real relegation trouble if the same had happened this season.
