For all of our players the passing angles were incredibly difficult to find today & he & Rob Dickie were having to try eye of a needle stuff at times.

I can’t see us choosing to line up without him in the side either as his pace is invaluable.

    Fair enough. Point taken.

  2. I like Zak. He deserved all his accolades over the past couple of seasons, but of late his passing has become really casual. Sometimes he just nonchalantly prods it forward to no one in particular, or towards a teammate without any power behind the pass. What’s happening? Is this a blip in a previously flawless season, or is he losing concentration? If he carries on like this he may well end up being left out of the starting lineup.

Paul Weller - not the one who played for Burnley!

Well, we’re certainly in a jam!

With Mehmeti we just need to teach him to kick with his left foot. He is soooo predictable with the ball at his feet always having to check onto his right foot. Defenders wake up to this and send hi down blind alleys. Perhaps with LM's promise to improve current players Mehmeti can learn that the left foot has a use other than standing.

To be fair: Tins had a magical left foot and his right was only to stop him falling over!

I agree with a fair few of the comments already. I think Leicester, Derby, Brentford in their old grounds were always good - probably due to our results rather than the grounds themselves

However, I also liked a few of these others (pre-development) where we had good results on the day, but stood on cold, crumbling, dilapidated terracing - but you could sense the history of the club, but due to low crowds when playing us, felt like the stadiums belonged in a bygone era: Barnsley, Blackpool, Wolves, Watford, Millwall, Portsmouth, Newcastle(Keegans first game as manager was brilliant) - but all would've been rocking when full to the brim.

I would've loved to have gone to Stokes, Huddersfield, Boltons, Charltons grounds when at the height of their full terracing. Unfortunately, I've only ever done their new builds 😞

I remember going to Huddersfield’s old Leeds Road ground in the Sixties and recall that the toilet consisted of a single wall painted black, open to view!

More positive than many fans, but that is to be expected.  Also clearly has not had enough time to get ideas over.  However, if he intends to play a different game than Nige then we are in trouble as we shall need new players, and I am doubtful personally that he will be given much room for movement in January.   He made no criticism of players and that too is understandable; hopefully he will have a go next week at the appalling finishing.

Only worry for me he kept looking downbeat with his eyes fixed on the ground.  Not great body language.

I appreciate we all have our idiosyncrasies, but I was getting irritated by his habit of looking down at the ground every time he was asked a question. Hope somebody has a word with him.

It’s obvious they don’t really want a “contest” just the same yo yo clubs whilst those above this stay there in perpetuity.

Don’t have any interest in watching the Prem anymore, it bores me to tears, but virtually eliminating the possibility of getting there sort of defeats the point of the game.

Me neither. Haven’t watched MOTD for about three years. Just not interested….

  8. Thanks, Nige. As a fan base it’s pretty clear the majority think you’ve done a fantastic job in trying circumstances.

As far as I’m concerned, as a supporter for 57 years you’re the best manager in my time. Well done, that man!🙏🏼⚽
