It’s not the players’ fault that the manager is getting his tactics & selections wrong though. “Supporters” cheered when Andy King went off injured today, there’s no excuse for that. The displeasure should be directed where it’s deserved.

I agree, whilst I’m as frustrated with Pearson as much as anyone I thought as well as the poor atmosphere from the kick off, the cheering of an injured player going off & the booing of the players as they were showing their appreciation to the supporters at the end by some of our, so called, “fans” was totally wrong. I’m not saying people shouldn’t criticise but direct it where it’s deserved.

He didn’t say that at all. He was saying that some of the young players wouldn’t have experienced the negativity & reaction from the fans that they did today & presumably that’s what he meant by it. Have to say I think he’s got a point. Some of those kids are 19/20 & the booing, in my opinion, shouldn’t have been directed at them or for that matter any of the players. Equally out of order was cheering one of our players going off injured.

I remember lots of moaning about some of the players we had at the time but what would we give to have them here now!

I think people chanting “let him die” while a stretcher is being brought out to a player who is obviously seriously injured is a disgrace & quite frankly embarrassing.

A weak team in a competition that really isn’t all that important.
