  1. You should change your name to Nostradamus.
  2. Posts like this should happen every time a thread like this comes up. A fine yet subtle way to look out for each other. ?
  3. He brings a huge amount. Unfortunately we will never see his full potential as he will be long gone by then.
  4. I remember seeing Nagy v QPR on his home debut thinking he was going to be signing off the century for us, absolutely outstanding……as was Massengo for his first month. What happened?
  5. Have to be honest I’ve never wanted a manager to go as much as I did LJ, should never have been given as long as he was.
  6. I think 12 million for Scott is reasonable and fair in the current market, on the condition there is a hefty sell on clause linked in, I’m talking 30/35%……that’s where the real money could be made.
  7. Amazed they went for him in the first place. Did well at Luton but just one club, absolutely disaster at Stoke. considering the size of the club they must have had any Nev er of high profile candidates interested, this appointment slaked me of accepting relegation and wanting someone with champ experience to bring them back up as soon as possible.
  8. Johnson, Cowley, Harris all been promoted well above their level
  9. He is the only player in our recent history who I can see going to a top top club.
  10. He is a winger who joined a Sheff Utd side who play 352, it’s no surprise it didn’t work for him there. Why would we sign someone who has struggled so badly in the same formation that we play, doesn’t make much sense to me.
  11. I wouldn’t class Cowley as a particularly modern coach.
  12. £20 mil for both Scott and Semenyo would be excellent business. Add in hefty sell on clauses for both.
  13. A decent lower league manager who was promoted up the leagues far too quickly.
  14. He was outstanding on loan - been a big disappointment I agree.
  15. We have a history of turning excellent loans into terrible permanent signings, Tomlin being the obvious example. Whilst I wouldn’t put Jay into that category I do not think he has met expectations since signing on a perm. With him apparently being offered a new contract, all be it a lower wage, do people think offering him a new contract is the right thing to do? For me, I would release and look for a young hungry aggressive lower league left back to offer competition to Pring. When COD was released NP said that sometimes a player needs to move on for both them and the club, I thought Jay would be in the same boat, it doesn’t seem to be the case. What are peoples thoughts?
  16. I’ve known an ex Bristol City player for a decade, both before he signed for them, during his time here and afterwards. Very friendly, saw each other daily and worked closely in a business and professional relationship. He told me things that were fact, he told me things that was utter bollocks. One thing you learn is to take things with a pinch of salt.
  17. No I completely understand, I assumed you had some actual evidence to be so confident when in reality “he told me”.
  18. I’m not sure “friends of a brother of a former city player“ is the close tie you think it is.

I have to be honest I never thought he would make it in the championship, deserves massive credit for stepping up, he needs to maintain this though.
  20. Of course it is. The only way it wouldn’t be is if you are the one who drew up the contract. You mentioned that James is “definitely” on 15k+, again, you are either assuming or pretending to be itk. Reality is like most you just don’t know.
  21. He is similar to Bentley in that he is an excellent shot stopper but can also make really poor mistakes. Certainly attempts to be more dominant. He is playing for his long term future and like many I am undecided as to whether he is a long term championship number 1.
  22. It’s miles off for a number of players.
