  1. Same here - I am 50 and this was the first time I could see something building that I felt resembled a proper culture around the club. We are now back to patting ourselves on the back and accepting failure. I will never forgive the Lansdown and Tinnion.
  2. I enjoyed it so thanks for reposting. I am feeling the same in many ways at the moment. I am fed up with being treated like an idiot which is how the clubs lies and state funded TV style interviews make me feel. I think we would get more honesty if we were supporting the North Korean national team.
  3. Sorry - what did he do at Birmingham?
  4. Excellent statement. They wont listen but we have to keep trying.
  5. The one thing Nige didnt do was praise Steve, Jon and Maggie at every opportunity and talk about our amazing facilities. This seems to be the main criteria for everyone in a senior role at the club. This sacking has hit me quite hard as in my view Nige was the best manager we have had in the 40 years I have been a supporter.
  6. This is a disgraceful decision. I thought the statement by Jon Lansdown was embarrassing as well. Do they really think we should be close to promotion with a threadbare squad, low wage bill and with a policy of selling our best players? We all know full well that this is not a decision based on results, and I find it insulting that they have tried to say it was. It shows the utter contempt they have for the fanbase. For the first time in 40 years I dont want to watch my team and its because of the owner and not what is happening on the pitch. Im disgusted with how they are running our club.
  7. He is the best manager we have had in the 40 years I have been a fan. I am absolutely gutted that the club have treated him like this, because as you say he has done a fantastic job in very difficult conditions. He has changed the culture of the playing squad which was in a tailspin when he took over from Holden. I have really enjoyed watching the team develop. Cheers Nige we are going to miss you.
  8. I always enjoy this podcast, although I probably disagree with what is said more often than not, but that's what makes it a good listen. I thought Dave was excellent on this episode as he does offer a nice balance to some of the more emotional / negative comments - get him on more! I also enjoy Ian's input, he is honest and consistent but I see things slightly differently most times but again that's why I like it. Keep it coming chaps. COYR.
