  1. Ipswich got us next .. Probably get the backlash .
  2. Think it was Holloway who left for Leicester and got them relegated ! They loved that .
  3. Yes - Azaz scored a cracker v us. We had an exciting 3-3 draw there over Xmas . As you say it was at least entertaining for both sets of fans .
  4. Plymouth started the season well and were playing some good football scoring loads of goals till the change of management. Think the trouble was their new ex manager tried to get the team to play nice fancy football (don’t they all!) which didn't suit them and dropped some popular players. With the Plymouth fixtures to come bar Leicester they ought to do enough to stay up really. QPR Stoke Millwall Hull on the final day.
  5. Where would Chelsea be without Palmer ?! Keeping Poch in a job .
  6. Can they really scrap points deductions having hit two teams with them already? Might be a few lawyers from Forest and Everton asking that.. Feel the horse has already bolted on that one.
  7. I’d go for McKenna , Summerville (maybe Szmodics and Gray.
  8. End of an era in a way for BBC cricket . .https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/cricket/jonathan-agnew-bbc-test-match-special-b2522696.html At 64 he probably has reached the age where the BBC move people on although he is staying on TMS for 4 years
  9. I do notice the other leagues now complain the Premier league is too powerful and has all the money .
  10. Liverpool are much more entertaining to watch . Arsenal went for a point and got it through some physical tactics which is unlike them to unsettle Man City who had no idea what to do . Might have been different maybe if the ref had booked a couple of players earlier but maybe he didn’t want to be seen getting too fussy ? Haaland is very much a goalscorer whereas Kane has a more all round game.
  11. I presume like a lot of young managers he was trying to get Plymouth playing a certain way that their squad couldn’t cope with ? Their goals certainly dried up when he came in .
  12. He can go back to working for the FA as an England youth coach where there was some success . I guess whatever he did with them hasn’t worked at Plymouth.
  13. Do feel it’s kind of rushed after the first few games .
  14. Breaking the rules seems to be catching on in Leicester! https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/68708612
  15. Tomorrow “morning” apparently. Not sure what is on tonight then .
  16. It will come eventually I suspect .
  17. What probably didn’t help it that this Iead to a 2nd booking too which made the decision look worse . A yellow card and it would’ve not been quite so controversial.
  18. Should a ref be expected to second guess that though or could that be where ex players come in as they “might understand the situation better “? Obviously they would have to be with no links to the teams involved ..
  19. Can they actually pay for it all or relying on endless loans to be paid back In the future? I am sure the builders don’t want to be kept waiting for their money .
  20. Goodness knows what relegation would do to them ! Just wasting so much money . How much did that Beto cost for example? Guess they will say it’s all due to the new ground .
  21. Is 29 fouls not many ? Presumably thinking if he he had booked a few ( Jesus ?) early the game would have opened up as there might have been less fouling later in the game ..
  22. Yes definitely don’t think you are alone there ! Both teams playing for a draw ? Hence the point in this my last line . Wasn’t any controversy to talk about or chances of note.
  23. As in not booking players for fouls ? Guess he was very generous but then people complain if cards are thrown around easily . Being from Manchester probably didn't want to be seen as pro or anti City so did nothing . Was waiting for some VAR drama though . Might have livened things up however !
