Quality is a bit subjective, whilst Warne had recieved critism for the style of his football it has generally been effective. His teams have trouble breaking down teams and most of the stick he's got has been follwing games we were unable to break down "lesser" teams defending in depth. Our performance against the better teams has been generally good, and it may well suit us to be attacked more providing our defence holds then. We are likely to end up as the sort of team that concedes possession and ends up scoring a set peice or hitting on the counter.
On to Max, his style works in a Warne team but it doesn't showcase him. I'm lead to believe he's ambitious to play at the top level and Manningball will make him look better than Warneball. He will make himself available and pass to someone who is available and repeat. It's a team game and whilst he only accasionally does something spectacular he'll be an effective cog in the Manning midfield getting the ball to players who have got into good positions. There were some worries his performance would drop on his loan but it didn't, that shows his good character. He leaves with all of our good wishes.
The other thread suggested he might regret the move following our promotion, I really don't think so, unless you sack Manning and bring in Warnock.
